I agree Sir, I agree entirely with that statement. There is SO MUCH missed opportunity here.

What if the deck had, I don't know... 40 ways to kill a man?vasta41 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 1:18 pmMilla Jovovich and Chris Tucker.RelativityCards wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 12:28 pm But seriously I'd love to know what you'd prefer to see beamed up!
Oh, you said "seriously." Never mind.

You have the right idea here. Not to mention the 10% that has to be paid to Kickstarter. It’s smarter to charge shipping off of the pledge manager. Great Job!RelativityCards wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 2:14 pm The shipping costs are all declared. There is zero mystery. I'm not going to charge insane amounts for shipping later. I've made it clear why I'm charging shipping separately. (To be fair there is a lot of text and I've done what I can to make things clear but any KS is a long scroll! Blah blah still my fault I know) There is a chart showing how much it costs for each quantity of decks to the US and worldwide. And I think the price per deck with and without the shipping is reasonable? And I have done this and successfully fulfilled a Kickstarter before so I don't know how flaggy that makes me. And I know I am not the only person to have ever done this. I guess I'm taking more of a board game KS approach in that regard. Super common there. Sorry it's not to your tastes or expectations. Nothing stops anyone from just upping their pledge by the shipping amount (again, totally declared) and calling it a day.
I certainly can't go back and change things now with it underway. But I think that if you're running a campaign that allows people to add on decks, charging shipping after the fact enables you to prevent overcharging on the add-on price. If every deck adds a cost to ship, that real cost is not the same for your third vs. your 7th deck. I charge exactly the right amount of shipping by using the stronger processes built into PledgeManager to make sure there's no overcharging and no guesswork on the part of backers.
One thing I would do differently, in addition to calling out the separate shipping charge twice in every tier, is to call out the fact that those charges are visible further down the campaign page.
