Peelers V3 Private Reserve

This was just released and sold out in 4 minutes. I assume a lot of greedy people buying bricks for resale. Limited to 1500. Also apparently their website wasn't working properly at launch so many missed out.

I like a lot of RS decks, but not these. Glad I did not want one as I would have been very annoyed that 1500 decks sold out that quickly.

Yeah they are gold metallic, and it actually looks pretty good in person tbh. The one thing that falls short for me on this deck, at least in comparison with the Carvers, is the fact that the quirky little changes to the courts just weren't as creative as they could have been. Cam said it was that they were trying to keep it similar to the Peelers V2, but as a private reserve/limited edition I feel like they missed a great opportunity to make this one really stand out. Personally, the biggest draw for me on an OPC deck is the little changes they make to the courts.

I'm simply a completest and wanted all the passport decks. I didn't know any of them would be super limited releases. Pisses me off.
BTW doesn't USPCC do print runs of 1,000 or 2,500? If so why only release 1,500 if at least 2,500 we're made? Also pisses me off. Unless my logic is unsound.

I don't know where this print run notion comes from. In general a print shop does every print run you want them to IF you pay for it. I'll bet USPC will print you a 50 unit print run, because last time I checked they are a company that aims to make a profit. It's just a matter of money you have to put on the table.

If they do a minimum of 1,000 then of course they will do 1,500 as well. It's not like they do 1,000 or 2,500. Plus you don't know if OPC made these as part of a bigger print run (like e.g. fontaine futures all together 10,000 but one edition had only 500 and if I remember correctly there was a 1,500 aswell).

I think USPCC might be more strict on their print run numbers than you think. At least they used to be.

I think the reason we see common numbers of 1000 or 2500 from USPCC could be that they have they offer certain discounts or only make certain card stocks an option if a certain minimum deck run is requested. This means companies can request numbers between 1000 and 2500 but they'll only get the next level volume discount at 2500 so they'll be more tempted to pick that as their print run. Somebody who knows a little more might be able to correct me though but i did actually think 2500 was the minimum print run to be able to use crushed stock.

Thanks for the info but it seems like they are just giving hope to the people that want the passport stickers, no? I'm a little confused but if that's the case I could give two poops. I want the sticker but I want the deck, too. Oh well.

@vasta41 There should be other opportunities to fill the passport, the way I heard it, there will be more than 6 decks releases that include stickers, so you can still get 6 to fill the passport even if you missed out on the Peelers v3.

As for the 1500 print run number, I'm not 100% sure as I was only half paying attention to the instalive Cam was doing after the drop, but it sounded like he had these printed around the same time as the Carvers and was sitting on them for a while, hence the lower print run. He said if he had known they'd sell out so quickly, he definitely would have printed more than 1500, and that the next release will be like 5000 at least so everyone can get one. Carvers was the first drop that got snatched up within minutes. The Slicers were in stock for like a week, but then again those also had slightly higher print numbers (3000)

Thanks for the explanation. I was luckily able to snag a V3 off ebay for just a little over retail. I'm not thrilled about it but I own every OPC deck thus far so I had to keep that going.
Unfortunately the deck is sticker-less. If there's any way you know of to get a sticker, please PM me.

Steve won't include the stickers as part of the sale, given You only get a max of 2 stickers per order (if you bought a brick or more).

Great. So what you're saying is that Steve hoarded the decks, contributing to the fast sell-out, for after-market sales and f#!%ed people like me out of buying one deck and sticker? Awesome.

We all now the game . You either are quick or others are quicker. Plus it's not Steve's fault when OPC sells 6 (or more decks) and doesn't include enough stickers.
If I would be desperate to get a sticker I would contact OPC, Henry, Steve and other resellers if they might have one left. Plus keep your eyes open for people posting who got half bricks and ask them if they have leftover stickers.
