My name is Krycho. [cry-cho(like chosen one)]
I live in the state from whence Jackson Robinson hails and the state in which Richard Turner now resides. These two men have been influential in my life and I admire both their character and their respective arts of which they are masters. I myself am a novice illustrator and a novice card mechanic. I love creating art for my church and my school. I love playing poker and, though I am an honest player, having a little fun with tabletop slight of hand. My artistic specialty is calligraphy and illumination, and I have begun to learn InDesign and Illustrator. I don't gamble, but I love all of the games. My father has restored countless IGT machines and we had a casino of sorts in our house growing up. We also hosted countless penny-nickle-dime poker games for neighborhood fellowship. Between the beautiful art and their incorporation with my love of poker, I fell in love with Jackson's decks a long time ago. I only recently started working a salaried position (as a teacher of language and philosophy) so I'm new to the collecting world but my collection has consistently consisted of about half Kings Wild decks and about half Bicycle, Lotrek, and Stockholm decks. I also admire the art and skill of Penn and Teller and Apollo Robbins.
