Um... doesn't this violate Kickstarter TOS?
Whatever I guess... It's a nsfw/spicy deck I suppose if anyone's a fan of that. There's a nude deck? Uh idk, you check for yourself.
Life is fickle...
We live to die or rather we are dying to live.
How has this raised almost 25K? Just tacky titties with a "sci-fi" theme, though it's heavy on the titties and the theme might as well be neoclassical architecture with how much it relates to science fiction. I stand erect in my defiance of this trashy deck. Hard pass.
I guess I am going to have to insert myself into this discussion. I thought the artwork was decent enough. I guess there is some interest in this type of deck. At least it is a bit better than a Hartsoe designed deck, and that can be told from the interest.
I happened to check with Gio on this deck and he thought it was nice enough, even if the gals are a bit flat-chested for his tastes.
The Crazy Squirrel Deck Hunter - Hunt decks to extinction
There is a market for pinup decks for sure. If not Hartsoe won't keep churning out their decks, art books, etc and they keep funding. It is Lorenzo Sperlonga's own project who has 5 books published on this topic, so he's no amateur for sure. So that explains how fast it funded and it's now above 25k!
As pinup decks go, this is very well done and on the same level as Agitcom's Military pinup, though Agitcom was more playing cards than a deck of pin up art like this.
Didn't seem NSFW at all at first, but then I did see in the compilations of tiny previews that some of them are nude. Regardless, the amount of funding on this trash is just crazy, although I'm not at all interested in it I will say that real vintage pin-up had class and artistry both. Neither of which I have seen in any so called pin-up deck on kickstarter.
i was surprised to see the funding amount when i looked yesterday. i almost jumped for these but the price was a little high and probably just not an avenue i want to start down lol.
these are more artistic as in they are hand drawn but in a similar genre to the hartsoe campaigns. the hartsoe campaigns seem to garner so little support so i was surprise to see these near the $65 mark. i thought they would reach their goal but be more in the teens.

Sure about the hand drawn? Looks more like standard generic renders to me.
for me hand drawn can be done digitally as well on physical media. they don't look like like computer generated images to me. i suppose they could be but they look "painted" whether or not it was with a physical or digital brush. i didn't really spend a whole lot of time looking at them or studying the technique that might have been used. i suppose i meant it more in contrast to most of the hartsoe decks with are heavily filtered photos.
