Brad, that house of bricks might actually be comparable to the market value of an actual house. Quite the stash you have there, my friend! :ucstar: :ucstar: :ucstar: :ucstar: :ucstar:

Definitely my style of deck. Lorenzo's art and design is just incredible.
Can't wait to see how this fully plays out!

Too 'familiar' for a Lorenzo deck. It just doesn't look new. I was expecting better after the HOTRS tarot deck.
I have the same though, but never the least, 1 brick for me!
I mostly collect Stockholm17 and always looking for any S17 New/Opened decks/ accessories: Brick Boxes, prints, coins, Pins, ect... If you have some weird small thing and want to trade/sell please let me know! If you are also a fan and have free time to chat, feel free to send me a PM!

This King's background is really detailed. Love the ship lower left corner. I wonder if the entire backgrounds are a map puzzle?

You are not funny, you bring nothing to the forums but nonsensical blabber and honestly you are one of the biggest moron I have ever seen (yes that was childish to write that but I am trying to use words you might understand). If it was just for me, I would have banned you permanently a very long time ago as you bring zero insight to any discussions... But freedom of speech is great, it allows any redneck to say their peace. I have lost interest in this place because of people like you and I think a long break is well needed. I am banning myself hehehe

To the rest of the good people here I know where to find you to discuss intelligently this great hobby of ours

Adios
I used to think we couldn't have a bigger troll here at UC than Bruno. But then 2piece/carp crawled out from under his rock and made Bruno look like a saint. I would normally advise members who are tired of this immature irritant to simply block him like I did so his posts get hidden and you don't have to be subjected to his nonsense. But the problem with this is that every time someone quotes him in their post you still see the crap spewing from 2piece/carp's mouth. I really wish there was a way you can't see posts from blocked users even if they're quoted by others. It's pathetic, and frankly quite sad, to see how 2piece/carp is so lacking in self-awareness that he can't comprehend he's nowhere close to being funny or clever as he thinks he is in his own mind. I'm all for humor and levity to lighten things up here, but I can't stomach the childish tripe 2piece/carp scoops out from the gutter.

I'm glad a mod finally set the record straight here and stated what a lot of us have already been feeling for a while now. I'm all for freedom of speech, but I think some moderation is required for some of our wayward members lacking in maturity. As for Lorenzo, he definitely has a recognizable type with his courts and this Eye of the Ocean deck is referential and pays homage to some of his previous work. But the artwork here is varied and excellent enough to command my interest. All I need to see is the back design to confirm this deck is a must own.

I apologize for the thread hijack. I didn't realize a week was ancient history. I don't come on UC as often anymore and I just started reading this thread today. Pierre was spot on with his comment and I felt the need to post as well. No more posts about trolls anymore from me.

I'll definitely be keeping an 'eye' out for this deck, though.

The transition on the King of Diamonds still irks me a bit. Feels out of the line to me...
All of the other courts feature a more smooth blend between the two halfs. The KoD feels rather harsh.

I'm basically sinjin's ex that he can't stop talking about - or get over. There's a fine line between love and hate.

I'm sure that this deck will end up in my collection. Not a fan of the boxes around the indexes.

Is it just me or is this a rather abrupt change in colour scheme/contrast compared to the court cards?

I was actually hoping to see more blues in a deck named "The Eye Of The Ocean", so I really like the Club. However, I wish the rest of the deck had THAT scheme. But I'll still get it. :geek:

These look amazing. Love the artwork!

It seems a shame that all this talent and detail is going to be reduced to a poker-sized cards, because you lose some of the detail.

Perhaps we need to have a new standard for playing cards designed by talented artists like Lorenzo, which are four times the size, so that we can preserve more details of the terrific artwork!
