It was right at $350. I put in a snipe, but was outbid. I think that is still reasonable, so congrats to the winner of that auction.

Thanks. I was out to lunch and forgot about it. I thought I had missed it but checked and fortunately about a minute was left. My wallet is crying after this and all Kings Wild decks I have ordered this week.

I received my deck a while back. It is a beautiful deck with the exception of a crease in the upper left corner of the five of diamonds. This annoys me as the description said they were new and unplayed with. I was going to contact the seller but I looked through the photos and zoomed in on them and it is noticeable. I assume a lesson learned is to look more closely at the photos. I guess I will need to see if I can find a better condition deck now.

I have the Venise Simplon Orient Express reprint and will compare the two.

There wasn't a tuck case so I had to find a spare tuck for it; the plastic wrapper is just to keep out any humidity

A certain female moderator just won an auction for 1985 version double deck (other deck opened, other still sealed) with the box for just 87 USD!

I paid more than that for my opened single deck without a box!

No sorcery or witchcraft. Simple misdirection. This was planned from the get-go. Everyone is focused on the DOTYs and meanwhile... boom, steal deal on those cards :D . Well played Pip, well played.

I... uh... kinda... um... won an auction...

FOR A F.U.C.K.I.N.G. 1890 CARTES INDIENNES DECK, AMAZING CONDITION, ORIGINAL BOX ALSO IN AMAZING CONDITION AND I ONLY HAD TO PAY THE STARTING BID OF 80 AUD! THAT IS LESS THAN 50 €!!! I STILL HAVE TO PAY A LITTLE BIT FOR SHIPPING IT FROM AUSTRALIA BUT I DON'T REALLY GIVE A SHIT!

Yeah, so I'm kinda looking foward on getting it.
Left my heart in SIERRA MADRE

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.
