Ugh, steampunk has been done to death already. Can't people come up with something new and original?

Not to mention it doesn't look like it will be produced by USPCC.

Thanks!

I know- how about a Cthulhu Skull Zombie deck in 5 colors?

With plenty of poker chips and dice, of course.

And tea bags.

Honestly, the list of add-ons and stretch goals was hard for me to process, but I did figure out that some of the rewards give you bags of tea, customized to match up with the court cards.

Imaginative yes, but not my cup of ... sorry ... never mind. :-)

P.S. It *is* supposed to be USPCC. It's kind of hidden in the subtitle, but not talked about much in the text ... subtitle: "Visions of Class Strife: Playing cards inspired by steampunk culture. Printed by USPCC." Also in the Localization section: "Cards: Kentucky (USPCC)"

The problem is, if they use USPCC they don't have enough money to cover the printing of the deck, fees and postage at the amount they are requesting to have the deck funded.

Thanks!

I did notice their prices, an they are amazing!! How are they able to get 8k with so many specials and the international shipping like I've never seen before! Well I hope they know what they are doing because I pledged for an early bird.

I think they look interesting, but I'm curios if they can make their goal.

This is the second steampunk deck I back. I guess I'm not that tired of the theme yet. :)

Yeah, steampunk was done to death and not even cool or interesting anymore. However, of the steampunk decks, this one is designed fairly well. My only issue is the pip placement on the spot cards, they are spaced way too close to the top and bottom of the cards so they're too empty in the middle, especially on the low cards.

I like the redesigned back on the full-body set, but I don't like the relatively bland back on the 2-way deck. I like the pips and number cards a lot, but I don't care for the art on the face cards. I'm torn, haven't backed it yet, not sure if I will or not.

On second thought I'll pass. I pledged while on my phone to reserve a spot. Took a good look at them now. Very cliched and disproportionate characters. I do like the number cards and backs though.

Agreed, although steampunk has been overdone I think the backs on these are snappy.
