I think these look pretty great. I have his Heroes of Japan deck, which I really love. This style is so completely different from HoJ but I think it's fabulous. He's printing with Legends as he has done before, so no surprises there. All-around good looking deck.

Yea I have always been into Greek-inspired mythology. I actually pledged for two decks because I fully plan to open one up.

I love this. Most decks miss for me, but when they hit, they hit. The style of illustration is what makes this one, along with the theme. Looks very much like illustrations from books of mythology I read as a boy.

Kudos. Great deck definetly worth picking up.

These look great! I scoured through the campaign page looking for the reason it's not funding quickly and came up short. Any ideas?

Great back, awesome courts (even if one-way courts irk a few folks) and a solid theme (if a little overdone in these last couple of years). I'll keep an eye on this one.

Fantastic face and back design! The logo though on the Ace makes it look like that fast food greek restaurant.

Well, I would think that it being only a single deck may hurt it a little. Also he has a really good coin but the only way to get it is to do an add-on. A lot of people just don't like doing add-ons. If he is going to only offer a single deck, he could create tiers to include a coin.

Maybe I can help?

The reason I'm not planning on picking these up is the price. 18EUR is steep for me and I'd expect embossing on the tuck at that price point. Further, being someone who uses the vast majority of his opened decks for magic, one-way courts do irk me.

Also how you gonna make a quintessentially Greek deck and not involve Lotrek. Just a total lack of respect ;)

Got to admit though, art style is great, backs are adequately intricate for what you'd expect for a mythology-themed deck and matches a certain Greek aesthetic, and that coin is really nice. Would've loved to see Sisyphus tho.

The art and nudity is close to what one would see in Ancient Greek art, but may be a turnoff for the average backer. For me, there's something missing to make it a must buy . Can't say exactly what it is; perhaps adding something else like Heracles or the hero associated with these mythical creatures to create a scene or if the courts formed a triptych, I may have considered.

I like Kardeck's designs and ideas, but with Keymaster Tarot coming out soon and Lotrek's crypt next month, gotta save $. Free shipping at USD20 isn't bad but the funding goal is very high for a 1 deck series with just foil. Blame Lorenzo and Gio for spoiling the market with what one can do with $15 -20 decks.

Relaunch is inevitable apparently:
Dear backers,
THANK YOU a thousand times for your support and your messages.

I will be honest with you and I'm admitting that we can't reach the goal today, but trust me, we will reach it soon :

SKOTOS will be Relaunched next Tuesday 3rd of March :
Be the first notified > Follow Me Now Here <
I'm pretty confident about the success of this relaunch :

- I'm aware that the communication was not good at all and I will focus on it before the relaunch.

- The Funding goal will be lowered.

- Of course, I will NOT sacrifice the quality of the Deck : It will still be printed by Legends Playing Co and the fulfillment will still be done by Gambler's Warehouse in the USA. It will be the same Deck, as promised in this campaign.

- You are the proof that there is a community of people that want to back this project, and I count on you to support us as soon as possible when the Relaunch is Live.

We have few days before the relaunch. Please be ready to support this project again and together, we will bring it to life.

Be the first notified > Follow Me Now Here <
Thank You, See You Next Tuesday !
I'm here for you if you have any question,

Kindest Regards, Olivier

Hi,

Yes, it's because this campaign is a relaunch, and I would like to use this topic as a "fresh start".

Thanks for your understanding.

It is normal to use the "old" thread, since that way everybody can see the improvement, and it doesn't get to spammy in here, I think.

No worries, mods will merge the topics anyways. But yah, in general one thread per deck. Doesn't matter if relaunch.

Great to see it already doing well though; deserves to get funded. A very nice deck you've created there. Refreshing design for sure.
