David Blaine New Rose Gold Gatorbacks

Does anybody here that has a Silver Gatorbacks that has been opened, and not shuffled? I want to compare my deck with yours

Because, I just got a reply from the customer service from David Blaine's store regarding of the deck I got, and this is what they said:
"This is the correct order of the cards. We do not organize the cards by color or suit."

I am not convinced by their words - sounds like they are trying to avoid their mistakes. Decks that have Mnemonica stacks, always start with Ace of Spades on the front when you opened those decks (only need to do a single cut to make it a definitive stack). I am still convinced someone had shuffled the cards before it get shipped

All of Blaine's decks that come in a stack are stacked the same way. I have all his decks and while I'm not going to go over the whole stack, here is the sequence of the first 9 cards in his stack: AoS, 6D, 4H, 3C, 7D, 2H, 4C, 9D, AoH. You're Silver Gatorbacks should be stacked this way as well. Blaine stated there would be issues with the cellophane ahead of time, so you will not be able to get a refund or exchange on that basis. Unless you're a magician and planned on utilizing the stack (and you can always restore the stack if you do), I don't think the altered order of your cards should make a difference as long as the cards themselves are in new condition. You stated the registration is poor, I would like to see a picture of how bad you're Silver Gatorbacks are. If it's really that bad, then certainly Blaine should offer a refund or exchange on that basis.

All of Blaine's decks that come in a stack are stacked the same way. These are photos of my Silver Gatorbacks. Tell me if I'm not crazy. I haven't shuffled the deck, so there is no way the order is changed. If I get a fresh deck there should be two illustrations cards on the front - then the Mnemonica Stack - then ends with another two illustration cards.

The stack being mixed up is indeed mysterious but like sinjin wrote nothing too worrying. The borders while of, are unfortunately within USPCC tolerances as far as I can tell from only eye measurement. I doubt you'll get a replacement or refund for them. Fingers crossed though, maybe David feels generous.

I doubt that :/ I don't think they even bother to look up to mixed stack cards and ruined cellophane. But the mixed up stack really pissed me - it prooved someone shuffled the deck before it get shipped to me - or someone who does the packing are dumb enough to not follow order

Anyways, it's still beautiful decks. It's good thing that it is not too off-centered

I'm pretty sure no one shuffled your deck before packaging it, but the stack in your pictures definitely isn't how they should have came. Are you sure you didn't drop the cards or cut a packet somewhere? David Blaine deck DO come in Tamariz Mnemonica stack, but you have to cut to the 9 of diamonds. The deck should come with the two joker/ad cards on the face, followed by the Ace of Spades, 6 of D, 4 of H, 3 of C, etc. with additional logo ad card and duplicate (K of Spades, i think?) in the back. The deck in your pictures have clumps that are sort of in Mnemonica, for example in your 2nd picture - the 8 of D to K of D is in order, and 4 of D to 7 of S is in order, A of H to A of C is correct, and the 4 of C and A of S should be swapped. If you swear the cards came out of the box like that, maybe it might have been fumbled a bit when it was boxed up, but I think USPCC automates that process, so I don't think there's an actual person who's squaring up the deck and placing it into the tuck who decided to give one of the decks a very loose packet shuffle.

Also, your off-center card is more on-center than my entire deck lol.

*edit: Sorry, didn't see the first post you made about it, you already know about the stack. Not sure how it ended up being packaged like that. I could imagine maybe it was a mid-production deck they were showing to a client, maybe David Blaine himself, and the exec just fumbled putting them back into the tuck as it continued on the assembly line. Either way, as long as you have all 52 cards + jokers and adds, then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

LOL... would be funny if David Blaine himself gets one deck with the messed up order and totally bombs at a trick he uses the stack for.

Just curious if there was a possibility of Customs opening the deck and checking it ? Other countries' customs have been known to do that.

Yeah, the photos I show, is the stack that comes out the first time I take it out, so..... it's definitely wrong, compared with my newly opened Rosegold. I wouldn't dare shuffle these card until I memorize the stack or documented the stack.

But yeah, at least all cards are complete - just spend a few minutes to arrange it back.

Almost all my decks are shuffled, it's muscle memory .
