I'll let you choose which you prefer Gio, but my understand from viewing MetalLux is that it is hot foil. However, my experience is that they have a real issue with getting it applied consistently with details. I see wide variation from card to card. Also, USPCC does have a registration issue. Because of that, I really like cold foil over MetalLuxe, because Cartamundi cold foil has such great accuracy in placement. Also, I like cold foil because you can print over the silver foil and have a near infinite color variation if you want.

Re: Italia Divina by Thirdway Industries (Kickstarter)
Maybe this is not interesting for everyone, but I just unlocked the Coin!
@Bradius - I am aware about those issues, but I've never used Metalluxe and I think I'll go with it for Italia Divina.
I wanted a "White" back, so have a superbright-mirror foil is perfect for what I want to achieve. Colors on Italia Divina's back are not important
I am aware that Cold foil is more accurate than hot, but I have to say that USPCC proof is quite impressive.
About registration issues, I've already asked them to take more care, I have no direct control of course, but I think they're doing their best to improve. Fingers crossed on this (and of course if some deck will have bad registration issues, I'll fix as I always do)

I was planning on not not adding any add-ons to my pledges, but your coin is really making it difficult.
Will the coin be silver (or silver plated), or will it be steel?

The coin will be made of brass, plated with silver finish.

Decided to add one to my pledge! Really like the design, even though I'm normally not a fan of silver colors.

Re: Italia Magica - Thirdway Industries
I would merge this thread with the Italia Divina thread since it is the same series.

Re: Italia Divina by Thirdway Industries (Kickstarter)
Quick update
All decks are ready, and fulfillment should start next week.
Some impressions:
- Finally I saw Metalluxe in person. It's very shiny, but less accurate than Cartamundi's cold foil.
In terms of foil, I prefer accuracy over shine, so I will probably pick Cartamundi for my future foiled decks.
Anyways, the result is very cool anyways and I can confirm that it's possible use Metalluxe for a full-bleed design (which also give to deck a natural "gilding").
- Italia Divina tuckbox is really awesome, Gambler's Warehouse did really an incredible job on that one. White pearlescent paper is top notch, embossing is super deep (almost 3d) and silver foil is accurate and shiny.
- Radiosa and Segreta are simple decks, but they're really amazing. I am really proud of these and I expect a lot of aftermarket sales when people will get the decks in their hands. I also hope it may encourage people to visit Italy when this covid nightmare will end. FYI I've visited a part of Italy I didn't knew well (around L'Aquila) and I found some new things thanks to the research I've did for Italia Divina.
If you want to see more pics, I am spamming a lot on Instagram lately >> https://www.instagram.com/thirdway_industries/
Thanks to all backers for the awesome patience.

I literally just reorganized my collection and sorted the best of the best into my card chest two weeks ago, and tonight some jerk sent me these damn decks in the mail and made me do it again. This hobby blows.
