Russian Fairy Oracle. The cards are based upon the drawings of painter Ivan Bilibin from 1899. This deck is printed at 2016.

I normally try not to post Oracles and Tarots but this one is just too gorgeous for not to share.

RussCards has them for sale for 25,91 € per deck. Might be able to find it from somewhere else as well, not sure, didn't bother to check. 2 left.

The deck was created by Eugenia Ustinova based on old paintings.

Pretty good recreation of Bilibin's style, I immediately thought of Vasilisa the Beautiful when I saw this.

My gawd, this breathtaking art. I've been stunned by that pike on card #34.
YES.

Grabbed one, thanks Roop!

Yes it looks like it is a Lenormand deck. For one or two of the cards the symbolism is perhaps less obvious, but if you go through all the cards the great majority of them very clearly correspond to the Lenormand meanings. I suppose for a project like this where all the art is taken directly from the work of an old painter if you can't find a painting that shows the picture theme you need, maybe you'd have to go more figurative than literal.

I'm not entierly sure which of you is correct... but it kinda looks like a pike to me. Green scales, also the snoot looks more of a pike's snoot than sturgeon's.

If it is a fairy tale deck, it is most likely a pike.

My bad, the two in the back are sturgeons. The one with the rays out of his eyes looks definitely more like a pike.

True, the ones in the back are sturgeons, good catch!

The pike blinded me with his rays, so I could only see the fish in the back

It's a very traditional pike. There are two sturgeons in the background.

But most likely it's a submarine with underwater laser

Got mine recently, the deck comes with a small booklet in Russian; I guess it's for explanation?
Also came with sweet Russian stamps, courtesy of RussCards

Glossy, like this:

But since you're basically buying a collection of art, I don't mind at all; besides, the cards are gigantic.
