3 colors of the same mediocre design. Awesome.

The watermark BS is just crap.

I saw this on Kardify and was mildly excited opening the article and then I saw the court cards and I lost all interest

To me, "negative image" courts are the LEAST appealing way to modify them.

So, do I say "EASY pass" because it is easy for me to pass on these, or "HARD pass" to show how firmly I am committed to passing on these? English is a hoot.

I'm passing the basic twin decks, but I'm intrigued by the borderless orange stretch goal. Also, somehow the negative courts, albeit still unappealing, look better with orange IMO.

+1 That was the big turn-off and that it was clunky, dark and just standard courts modified in such a way.

The back design also just didn't interest me.
The watermark BS is just crap.
For me, the watermark was about the only thing I modestly liked about the deck.

I wish the creator well with the campaign, but it is a pass for me.

A mediocre design done twice (or maybe three times!) doesn't make it twice (or three times!) as good.

I LOVE the back design but this being a Dutch deck, shouldn't the orange deck be the "main" one with the blue as the stretch goal? Either way I won't be backing these because the pattern on the courts and aces are way to busy. And that orange deck should have a border on the back (or at least match the front color border). Also a tad pricey.

Yeah, pricey for what they are. I like the back design personally. I like the blue enough. The courts are not for me.

I will check back in on these and see if the orange deck is available. I love orange. May get it if it is available separately but will not buy one of the blue ones too to get an orange one at this point.

I was curious about that too. They did explain it in the KS page further down:
Delft Blue is the world-famous Dutch pottery that has been produced in the city of Delft since the 17th century. Between 1600 and 1800, it was popular among rich families who would show off their Delft Blue collections to one another.

Delftware is one of the types of tin-glazed earthenware in which a white glaze is applied, usually plant-based decorated with metal oxides, in particular the cobalt oxide that gives the usual blue. Delft Blue achieved unrivaled popularity all over the world and is still one of the best export products of The Netherlands.

Right, I knew that about the pottery after visiting Curacao a few years back (it's EVERYWHERE down there, as well as cheese). But my point is, if you were to ask any Dutchman, "what color should an Amsterdam deck be?" their answer would be orange.

From the update:
We did it, we hit the 12K and now the Orange Holland deck will become a reality! Thank you so much! It really feels the family is complete now.

The cat's communicating a look that says, "don't pledge for this deck".

I'll have to look and see if you can get just the orange one.

I've asked, they said only until after the campaign, or else for now it's only the blue set first for the orange to be available as add-on

The black deck is now live with a purple deck as a stretch goal.

Had a massive boner for this deck until I saw the courts. The design is intricate and I personally love watermarked decks, it's the cool factor, but the courts... standard and inverted... ugh what a waste. I want to pledge but I would probably cringe every time I play with the deck so it's a pass for me.

Backer and big fan of the first campaign. Black and purple doesn't seem to work at all, however. Easy pass.

There are very, very, very few decks that should to be printed in more than a handful of colors. This isn't one of them.

And now we also have White Tulip Playing Cards, to celebrate the 5th anniversary of The Dutch Card House Company. But unlike the original decks printed by USPCC, these are now printed by LPCC on their Viper Finish. I have the White Tulip deck, and it does handle rather nicely.

So now there are three variations with the blue style colour scheme.

And as stretch goal, they also produced the deck in another novelty colour, Pink Tulip Playing Cards, once again printed by Legends Playing Card Company.
