Deck ID Nakatomi Plaza Playing Cards

Unread post by limitededition »

Anyone know anything about this deck?

The internets are sadly silent about their origin or where they might be available.

Wait - so this is a Die Hard deck?
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

Yeah, Nakatomi Plaza isn't a real building. IIRC the building in the movie is the 20th Century Fox Plaza in LA.

No custom courts, pips, aces, added cards, jokers - nothing. Just a cheap $3 deck of unbranded cards in a tuck that says Nakatomi, has fake blood drops on the front and says "Die Hard" on the top. I had hoped for at least something, but oh well. Still love the movie so keeping them as a junk deck.
