This is a prototype and it is not perfect. The lid will cover the sides of the tray completely and the tray will have graphics in gold foil.... I expect to launch it probably in late January or beginning of February...... Miniature modelled and 3D printed by @simonerasetti3D

Right there with ya man! I told Lorenzo that if I end up collecting Tarot decks because of this, we are going to have a serious problem!

When he said it would be in a box I didn't expect it would make the Gatekeeper look like a baby! I am beyond excited for this, it's pushing boundaries for sure.

That would be cool, then we could put the T11 Star Wars decks in them 8-)

Hey, Lorenzo, can you ask your supplier to make a prototype?

I bought the Slow Tarot deck on Kickstarter last year and thought to myself, "Right, no more tarot decks; I can't afford to collect those, too."

I guess I'll be making an exception for this beauty, though!

According to his Patreon posts, that's the Ultimate or Supreme version.
Planned KS price around $120 with free shipping.
So yeah, better start saving or looking for somewhere to sell some body organs.

He's got 2 other, less eye-watering variants planned. There may also be EB prices for all 3.

The Superior variant is a black and gold leatherette feel box with the Cartomancer back as the box lid.
Planned at around $55.

Regular variant has the Fool card as the lid and the box is hard cardboard. Price around $35.

So there's something for everyone without having to donate body parts.

Again everything is subject to change. But I felt that it'll be helpful to mention here the rough price so we can start planning how many days we can go without food. :?

Yes, Lorenzo is really keeping patrons updated with his progress, multiple times per day even.

I'm really glad I pledged, if you're interested in seeing the designing process I think it's well worth it.

I'm surprised how fast he is with creating multiple versions and doesn't seem to rest much :)

3rd here. I don't even know how you use or play with a tarot deck. I also like UUSI Brut tarot deck as well.

If all the cards in each version are the same, I think I will just stick with the 35 or maybe 55 if it looks nice. As much as I like a nice tuck, 85 dollars is too much for one, even as badass as it is. Maybe I will change my mind but I doubt it.

I am happy though that he is making something so awesome for those that would like to purchase it.

It won't be my first tarot deck, not by a long shot (Uusi, LoScarabeo and James Eads have done such beautiful decks I couldn't resist), but it may be the last, since it looks like the Ultimate Tarot Deck. It is that beautiful.

Tarot is quite an interesting game which is till today pretty popular in France. It is a simple trick taking game with trump cards. The highest trump takes the trick.

That's about the price I expected when extrapolated from the Gatekeeper by comparison. I'll back for it and see what I can pull together before the end of the KS period, all or nothing. Taking a closer look after the initial awe I'm very impressed by the 3D modelling itself and translation of the central figure's design to the 3D space, interestingly this was done by the same 3D artist who did Gio's Eva statue, and is also a brand ambassador for an Australian made 3D printing resin.

Those James Eads ones are phenomenal. The only Tarot I own (prior to Lorenzo's).

Will there be an uncut sheet?

I've never seen an uncut sheet of a Tarot deck... It may be a good idea to offer one in the campaign as an add-on.

Most likely because the majority of tarot deck comes more from desigers that come from the cartomancy/divination side and not from the playing card designer side.

Good grief, these look absolutely incredible!

I've honestly not even been remotely interested in a tarot deck until now. Thankfully, I have absolutely no interest in adding them (tarot decks) to my collection beyond the odd one here and there, like this one.

Such a fantastic-looking body of work!

That's great how a lot of us want this to be our first tarot deck. I'm not a fan of one way courts but the artwork of these (and Lorenzo's past work) are hard to pass up.

Watching multiple youtube vids on how these are used are interesting. I agree with TheCollector , I'm not going out of my way to find more tarot decks and starting a collection of them unless it's something really good.
