If there is already an existing thread my apologies, but the search for "Bicycle United Cardists" seems somewhat useless

So, on my daily browse through reddit I saw someone selling this:

I was like, this exists!?
Has anyone of the UC vets more info regarding this deck?
The seller wants $20 (shipped within US), would that be a fair price?

Yep, this is the original UC deck from 2013.

Have a look at the original thread... all 21 pages of it.

These were printed by BMPokerWorld, who at the time ran the site (before Mike R took over)...

Seems like a fair price. That's was a weird KS for me. I remember getting my shipment and one of my decks had no cello and was scotch taped together like it had been pulled apart and put back together. I complained to Mike and he sent me a replacement but no idea how that slipped through. I probably still have it around somewhere.

WOW!!!! All I can say is WOW!!! USPCC has bent over backwards to work with us. I just got the pricing for the new deck. Here is what we get:

1) A Bicycle Branded Deck
2) A Custom Seal
3) Embossing & Foil on the Box
4) Green Foil on the Inside of the box

All those upgrades and we will still be able to sell the deck for $4.95!!!!! I think this is truly amazing!!! Well, I have done everything I can and now it is up to you guys. I plan on setting something up so you guys can buy it. Let me know what everyone thinks.

those were the days. Now we can't even get the "annual" decks created in the same year let alone at $5. Hell, we don't even have a 2020 deck artist lined up

I am white and fluffy, so it will be a short comment This year UC2019 is cheaper than a standard $5 USPCC deck when we look at costs. Am I going to do it again? No "white and fluffy" way.

I'd like to go on record for saying I'm aware things, namely inflation, have changed over the years. And also that we (or at least I) appreciate all you did to try and rush the 2019 deck into our hands. I just miss the "good 'ol days" when foil and embossed, Bicycle-branded decks were less than $10. And while I'm happy the UC annual deck series is still alive I just really, REALLY hope the 2020 can actually be delivered in 2020. I also personally would love to see it be done with less fanfare, standard or standard-ish courts but for a more reasonable price. At least one version.
