All red decks will be printed in Greece by OathPCC on 310gsm casino grade German stock. This is new and has never been used before by me. The decks that will become gilded will be sent to France for gilding and then to GW and 52Wonders to be included in the bricks.
Much less complicated than it sounds, really.

That's pretty much what I expected and glad to hear that we'll be able to test out your new finish on a "regular" deck as I'm unlikely yo be able to do so with the gilded one. Now if you just decided to release a blue deck... :D :D :D

Not if it's just an add-on on any pledge. :ugdance:

Well, I obviously wasn't reading the update as well as I should have. :? Thanks for the clarification Lotrek.

Actually, a number of his non-foil decks that Lotrek printed in Greece are very reasonable. I remember when he produced De Novo that a brick set me back like $100.

Was definitely surprised by the change, it is a big one for sure and I feel like this campaign could have been planned out better in advance but I'm glad to get a red. Tricky for me, currently 75 bricks backed for, I won't want the Red Gilded unless there are over 100 of them, if that happens it'll become one of my white whales! The tuck looks damn pretty.

Appreciate everyone’s support for Charmers thus far. Much planning went into the campaign, but as in life, mystery and surprise changes things, and for the most part...a lot more exciting for us all. Lotrek has worked extremely hard on this campaign with me and I am truly grateful for our collaboration. Lotrek is the ultimate of ultimate. Look forward to this last 7 days of the campaign. Keep the Wonder & Happy New Year!!!

There are many "hidden" brick backers as they're people who kept their original pledge and added for the brick.

So if people got a brick, they can do 4 red, 4 green and 4 purple?

Yes, that's the default set in the brick.

Yes, the brick is split automatically like that plus the red gilded as a 13th gift deck.

I love how folks want to talk Lotrék into a blue version. As a member of the blue over red fraction I endorse this endeavour!

Talk him into it? PLEASE! If someone were to hack his hard drive I'm sure we'd find all kinds of Blue Charmers renders. I can almost guarantee there will be a blue version somehow, someday.

Some of us with brick orders have other bricks added onto our orders. For someone with a brick order, it is $160 shipped for the 12 mixed decks (in cold foil) and a brick box, or $13.33 each shipping included. Oh, and I get that gilded deck for free (shipping included).

That said though, when I add up what is currently pledged with domestic shipping only, it comes to $25,000. So that only leaves $7,000 in add on money. However, as Lotrek said, some may have added onto their existing pledge to make a brick, so it gets nearly impossible to guess how many of those upgrades are included now that I get to the end of my math exercise! In any case, there are about 78 bricks currently pledged. I am just guessing based on the above numbers there are about 30 extra bricks at the most included as add on, so that takes you just a little over 100. So right now I am guessing a little over 100.

Unless we get a number of last minute backers, we are still about $5,000 shy of the next stretch goal, which is a Signature Deck option. My only problem with this is if we get to like the last day before we break that goal, and then have virtually no time to add additional funds for the signature decks once the option and pricing is posted.

I mean, blue is on the flag of the United States (Kellar) and on the flag of Greece (Lotrék). If that doesn't tell you something! :D

We decided to release the Signature deck during the last day of the campaign, regardless of reaching the stretch goal. Open for 24 hours, no limit in the number of decks per person.

As for the blue deck, There are the following variations coming:

1) Very very very light blue
2) Very very light blue
3) Very light blue
4) Somewhat light blue
5) Light blue
6) Blue
7) A bit dark blue
8) Dark blue
9) Very dark blue
10) Very very dark blue
11) Very very very dark blue
12) Insanely dark blue
13) So dark blue that you think it's black (gift deck)

All in a nice blue brick.

Of course these decks will be available in Test and Craft editions.

If you did them, yeah. You might be crazy enough to do it. However, these are being produced by Cartamundi. I just want to see you send the files over to them to get their reaction to 13 more deck variations. I'll have to study up on my Dutch swear words.

Will this be an add-on or a special tier? Not sure how a late-bird kind of thing works.

Is it just me or the signature tuck needs more contrast or a third color?

It's the rendering, again. You cannot see the sheen of the foil neither of the fabric as it's associated with the game of the light. A third color would cover a bigger part of the fabric which I want to avoid. Unfortunately, my ideas can seldom be conveyed through renderings. Can you imagine how poor a rendering of the Silk back would have been compared to the real thing?
