Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
And me, and I'm heading out for holidays which means I won't get to see the decks until next year. *triple sigh*

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
I received my tracking details from 52Wonders yesterday. So hopefully others this side of the pond will receive theirs soon as well.
It seems ages have passed since backing these, Lorenzo's work is always worth the wait though

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
Got mine today in Italy Love the tucks, my first of Lotreks's handiwork! The black version is amazing and definitely my favourite. I'm going to give them a proper spin tomorrow when I get chance.
Just a great job all round - well done mate!

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
I get this vision of TGW dressed up as one of those late 1800's fellows in a wagon selling potions holding up his decks.
Actually though, that would be a good intro for a review of Randy's "Snake Oil" deck. I like that deck (one of my brick purchases).

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
My packages came in. So, here are some photos:
Don't hate me for this. I have no idea how Gambler's warehouse smiled on me, but here are my brick numbers..
My Stockhom17 Patreon rewards also came in today, so the grand photo...
Tell me I'm crazy, but from a distance, the HotRS Ace of Spades looks like a grumpy man with a big mustache.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
Awesome! My favorite number is 2, I would have loved to have gotten that one. Or 22 or 222 for that matter.
I got 99 if anyone happens to have 2, 22 or 222 and wants to trade brick bands.

I was close, I got 212 on my brick band. 2 of my black decks were numbered in the mid-90's though. Lowest numbers I had from my single brick purchase.STLBluesNut wrote:Awesome! My favorite number is 2, I would have loved to have gotten that one. Or 22 or 222 for that matter.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
This should be up for best deck for magic, which is a pretty thin category at the moment in DOTY. Perfect handling, clear and quasi-standard faces, unsuspicious in every way but with a great set of gaffs available too.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
Forgot that my KS address was changed this summer, to my dad's address, in case I move this year (or next). So, he has my package from GW...

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
These look really good, hopefully I will get mine soon. I got my tracking details from 52Wonders over a week ago. Deutche Post still have no details of it though so I guess it hasn't been picked up yet. Anyone else this side of the pond experiencing similar?

I haven't gotten through the list to finalize my nominations, but the Parlour for best magic deck is going to be one of them.Jocu wrote:This should be up for best deck for magic, which is a pretty thin category at the moment in DOTY. Both of my boxes arrived safely and in perfect condition. Always like when that happens. These decks are keepers.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
Just got my brick box today and came here to say this. Also the brick box is just gorgeous, but I'm afraid I might end up accidentally tearing it in half at some point.Jocu wrote:This should be up for best deck for magic, which is a pretty thin category at the moment in DOTY. *edit: Ok so I did actually end up tearing it a little bit, but I think this works for me, haha. Half to keep sealed, the other half for opened decks to use.

Re: The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW)
This is my favorite deck to use right now. I have a nine month kid who always tries to play with whatever I'm playing with. I just give him a deck of NOCs to mess around with so he doesn't ruin my nice decks.
