Re: Seasons Manor of Wonder - Rare Mystery Deck Sale
Most all the Uber rare are sold now. You can get a Starter Pair, which includes an uber rare and vault deck with a cabinet for $65, which is still a great deal. That is it for the uber rare sale. At least it lasted a few minutes.

Re: Seasons Manor of Wonder - Rare Mystery Deck Sale
Did you confirm that it applies to this sale? Don't really think that's what is intended by a mystery sale.Cardians wrote:I've purchased 2-Uber rare decks and if it's not the decks I'm looking/hoping for, I'll be contacting Seasons for a full refund as Alex has a Refund Policy.
I'll be keeping what I get and I know I'll be happy with it.

Gosh some people just dont get it YES you expect people to buy not knowing what the deck is THAT IS WHAT A MYSTERY SALE IS geeez how hard is this to understandaznh wrote:badpete69 wrote:I can't speak for Alex of course but the point of a mystery sale is just that , you get what you get... I don't think you can send them back otherwise everyone unhappy would send their decks.. No refunds I am afraidCardians wrote:I've purchased 2-Uber rare decks and if it's not the decks I'm looking/hoping for, I'll be contacting Seasons for a full refund as Alex has a Refund Policy.
That's easy for you to say, but that's not how it works. You don't expect people to purchase something based off a "mystery" to then end up un-happy with the shippers choice.
And lastly, where did it or does it say with this sale, NO REFUNDS, ALL SALES FINAL!

Yes, when I went to check-out there was a link that explained the Refund policy Alex/Season has in place.Strag wrote:Did you confirm that it applies to this sale? He'll probably do what Art of Play does and wrap them individually so once opened, they can't be returned. I think I'm fine with whatever I get from Alex but man last year I ordered 12 mystery decks from AoP and get literally nothing but their cheapest decks currently available on their site. So disappointing.

I may be wrong, but would say that's exactly what a Mystery Sale is.aznh wrote:That's easy for you to say, but that's not how it works. You don't expect people to purchase something based off a "mystery"

Lol, you obviously have no idea how the world works when it comes to retail purchases. Just because you label something as “mystery” and add “sale” to the title doesn’t mean the consumer is obligated to accept what they received and the seller does not accept returns.
You badpete69 should be well aware of these policies considering how many transactions you make.
Good luck to everyone that got some. Looks as though mostly everything is sold out.

Re: Seasons Manor of Wonder - Rare Mystery Deck Sale
Yeah, hopefully these mystery decks come sealed in wrapping paper. Open the wrapper and technically you no longer have a 'sealed' item, therefore no refund possible.Returns must occur within 30 days of the initial order. Returns and replacements will be accepted if the product(s) are in sealed new condition or if damage to the items were result of poor packaging. We do not claim responsibility of any damage occured within transit.

Lol, you could wrap it in Christmas paper for all you want. Good luck with that argument.

Man, that's a bummer, but I don't think this is the same case. Although you don't really know which exact deck you are going to get, you know what kind of deck you're getting. I mean, you know you're not going to get regular decks that are on sale everywhere.

So what's the point of a mystery sale then? Looks like you've been a member since 2017, you should know how it works by this point...aznh wrote:badpete69 wrote:You will be sorely disappointed when you find out that you cannot return mystery decks..... Re: Seasons Manor of Wonder - Rare Mystery Deck Sale
Took the works out of my mouth. I would pay these prices if I could guarantee a sugar plum but no guarantee, not for me.PrincessTrouble wrote:If there was a way to purchase just the sugar plum set, I'd be on it in a heartbeat. But for the price options, the risk is too high for me to get something I'm not interested in. Even though the other decks are nice, they are not what I want. I guess mystery is just not for me. Good luck to those that participate!

Re: Seasons Manor of Wonder - Rare Mystery Deck Sale
Any counter-arguement is moot anyways since it's up to the store owner's discretion. One would think a buyer would act on good-faith knowing what they were actually buying...aznh wrote:aardvarkgod wrote:Yeah, hopefully these mystery decks come sealed in wrapping paper. Re: Seasons Manor of Wonder - Rare Mystery Deck Sale
I guess if you don't receive what you're looking for you could always make a trade with someone here.
I think everyone is hoping for the Sugar Plum decks, myself included, but I would also really like some of those Elixir decks.
Purchased a brick. Oh Well! There goes Christmas

Re: Seasons Manor of Wonder - Rare Mystery Deck Sale
I ended up jumping for 3x half bricks. I may consider doing trades if I don't get what I don't want, but we'll see.
On another note, these kind of mystery sales where it's not filled with common decks are definitely one for the books! I'm so glad Alex did this. In all fairness, even if i don't get the snow plum 2019 npccd or green 2018 npccd decks, I'll be glad to be owning a bunch of rare decks!

Re: Seasons Manor of Wonder - Rare Mystery Deck Sale
I get it. Mystery decks are not for everyone. Neither is gambling, so if you have an aversion to either, stay away and spend your hard earned money on a deck you know you will love! And to those who purchased, I hope you get great decks. I have to say that Alex does not disappoint when it comes to quality so I am not worried. I will keep what I want, trade the rest.
With that, I do have to mention that I think I screwed up in my haste when checking out for fear of a sellout that I did not add any of those free cases. I purchased 20 decks in all. Was I supposed to add them to my cart? How many was I entitled to? Alex if you're listening...help!

I got the half brick. I am hoping for one or both Apothecary prototypes. I would definitely be open to trade or buy if I don’t get one and someone did and is willing to part with it.

I would be open to trades once everyone has gotten their shipments in. Feel free to contact me. Hoping to get as many of those apothecary variants as possible!
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.

Well, that is just daft. That is just taking a piss and cheating - if you do not like the rules, don’t play the game. Where did the Sugar Plum come from btw? I've been calling it that for a while because people have been saying it, but I think it's actually called Snow Plum..
