Explorer Playing Cards - Riffle Shuffle
I like this one. It seems to hit some of the notes the 1969 deck was missing, so I am in. Charming with a whimsical space theme on USPCC card stock. Obviously the tuck is going to be a flat, glossy tuck, but the overall deck is very appealing. If you are in for 3 or more decks, you can opt to add-on one of 100 numbered, gilded versions near the end of the campaign.

Whimsical and cute. The concept of the courts, with the silhoutte of standard courts filled with custom artwork, is interesting. With unlimited funds I would pick them up maybe. But for me, they don't make the cut.

Re: Explorer Playing Cards - Riffle Shuffle
Another great RS deck. They have been putting out some great decks this year, with a couple of exceptions. I'll be in for 3 as usual. This deck would have definitely been better done by the premium line with a better tuck, but at least they have a premium tuck line now.

Yeah i'm in for these too. These Riffle Shuffle produced decks are almost too affordable to pass up.

Repeating courts unfortunately. Seems to be a strange mix of four different backgrounds used three times each, with 5 figures used 2-3 times. Really cute though!

Re: Explorer Playing Cards - Riffle Shuffle
I like that it's more like a window into what that little explorer dude is up to in the background, so I don't mind that the "window" repeats.
On first glance, the court cards consist of silhouettes of kings, queens and jacks occupying a bigger part of the cards. However, upon a closer look, each of the silhouettes is, in fact, a window into a different narrative. With each of the cards, you get to discover a new character and their thrilling adventure in the outer space.

I like the aces. That's just about it.

I'm beyond fatigued with the quantity of Riffle Shuffle releases this year. I'll probably pick one up, but that's it. Might even be cheaper to wait. ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)

Yhea they've been pumping out decks lately. My wallet is suffering and so is my wall space. I'm just happy most of their decks have been good tho.RelativityCards wrote:I'm beyond fatigued with the quantity of Riffle Shuffle releases this year. I'll probably pick one up, but that's it. Re: Explorer Playing Cards - Riffle Shuffle
I actually noticed that each of the courts is actually different technically. Each one is the outline of a standard court. Like a court shaped window. Some of the images inside do appear to repeat or be similar pattern.
I still like it for the colors and the art design. Plus, 6 of them are orange!
