I don´t care if they sell out or not. Only people who try to resell them on the aftermarket care.
All i care is that i will recieve the next 2 decks of one of the best designed deck series to date!!! ;)

JPMiddleton wrote: It seems that the hype machine can backfire from time to time, as when there's mention of selling out in 24 hours for previous editions they certainly have a high target to aim for, if you can even call it that.

From what I gather, they've limited the number that can be bought of each option by each customer - but I might be wrong. I'm assuming this is to try and allow everyone who wants to buy some, to get their hands on some unlike last time.

Yep, the quantity limit and the 6-Pack Boxes themselves were meant to make it possible for everyone who wanted some got them. With the first ORNATES a free Gold Crown Deck was given for every order of $100 (I think?). I'm guessing a few people with deep pockets grabbed a bunch of ORNATES just to turn them and the Gold Crown Decks over on EBay.

I'm proud of how the A&E Decks are selling. There's only a few hundred left of each color left! Plus, they are selling on there own - no extra incentives like bonus tiers or free Decks for a certain amount purchased. There is the bonus of the custom Boxes, but I will always have a custom 6-Pack or Brick Box to compliment a Deck design (except for maybe the UC Deck?).

thanks, Randy

I'd forgotten about the gold crowns, and they were still fairly 'hot' back then too.

I received my decks today and I have to say that the Emerald deck is my favorite out of the 4 releases. Awesome thin borders and side embellishment. I REALLY love the 6 deck custom boxes! All the quality and style of the brick custom boxes in a compact size.

It looks like the ORNATE Amethyst and Emeralds are all soldout.
Thank you to everyone who ordered some! I hope you enjoy them, and try not
to Wreck 'em like my son attempted with his Deck.

thanks, Randy

I just thought I'd share something I discovered while playing around with my Ornates. I haven't checked, but I assume this applies to all colors.

The Aces and the Jokers all have corner ornaments in their upper right and lower left corners. This isn't visible when doing a regular fan (for right-handed people anyway), but a reverse fan will make them stand out and easy to spot. Though the borders might make it difficult with a full deck, and not many people can do reverse fans (I would think), so a one-handed fan with half of the deck in one's right hand would also have the same effect.

Might be useful for magicians or other card handlers who wants to locate Aces/Jokers quickly ;)

Hey Magik!

Yep, the Sapphire and Scarlets are similar. I didn't really plan any of that. I just wanted to give the Aces and Jokers some extra elements to tie in the Ornate theme. To differentiate the Aces on a reverse fan, the Ornaments on the Ace of Spades is much more full than the other three Aces. The Jokers' Ornaments are similar to the AOS Ornaments, but they differ slightly near the Border's center Discs.

Thanks, Randy
