I am thinking the Philosopher might be the real deal and not a puppet of the Order. Any other guesses on who is the Betrayer? I am thinking the Philosopher. I like his motto "Knowledge is Power". That beard might be a disguise.

STLBluesNut, you will be pleased to know that I have opened three decks from my haul.
Haha I laughed when I saw there was an issue scanning Electus :P

Not all secrets are revealed - the booklet include some, anyways.
For example... did you guess who is the General?

Well, it is the King of Spades in the Imperium Deck. Could it also be the King of Hearts in the Revolutio deck?? Maybe even the Leader himself?

As I was going back through the updates, I noticed three interesting tid bids you gave. The first was in update #1 gives some background on Rachael, the Imperium Queen of Diamonds. She turned in her love James, so not likely to be much help in overturning the Order! In update #2, we are introduced to Antoine, the Student, the Jack of Hearts in the Imperium. He is totally under their thall, so not much help there either. The third file we get in update #7 is a bit interesting on Alexei, the Imperium Jack of Spades. He basically says their own troops fired on them and specifically names the Eraser.

So, who is the Eraser? That to me seemed to clearly be The Leader. So is the leader trying to take down the Order? That doesn't seem to make sense to me though.

This is absolutely the way everyone should do it! The House of The Rising Spade decks don't have seals, most Lotrek decks don't have seals, and they're all the better for it.

The General is not what it's not who he seems to be :-)

Alexei story reveals exactly that - they were winning, until the Order Eraser - the ultimate weapon of the Unique Party, under the control of the Leader itself - vaporized them.
He's surprised too, so it does not make sense for him as well ... they were going to win the War! Maybe the Unique Party did an error?

A fun background - the Eraser is inspired by the legendary Tesla's Death Ray.

I received my Order package today and it's awesome! The Electus cards are particularly gorgeous. I read through the booklet (which I greatly enjoyed) and noticed a typo, The Berserker is missing an 'R' and appears as Berseker?

Are there any booklet leftovers, Gio? I definetly would get one if they will be available in your shop in the future.

Honestly one of my terrors about make booklets are the typos. I've had it proofreaded several times, but no one noticed (it's 100% my fault of course, have people who proofread my stuff is pure gold).
Well, I can say that maybe the revolutionary warriors are called Bersekers - without the other R :P I hope the Ministry of protection will understand
Thank you for the feedback, will be more careful in future.

@Harvonsgard - Yes! The Leader asked me to prepare a terrific Halloween Party (pun intended, yeah). Booklets will be available

You're right, I can take some tomorrow while I'm doing my organisational pictures anyway. Side note, I got an extra Occultus and my husband quickly claimed it for himself! To use for bookmarks. We've previously gone through any decks I had which were primarily red and gold because that's what he's looking for, even the black Silk deck by Lotrek and none of them were good enough, but the Electus cards are 'beautiful' he said and beat out all the rest :P. At least they will be thoroughly used and appreciated lol.

Here are a couple photos! I love all the poster/propaganda cards and had to get them all together. The metallic inks really help make every card look stunning though, these and Conquerors have quickly become some of my favourites. Gio has been killing it this year 8-) .

I had a lot of fund designing the "Ad Cards". I might do more "Ad Jokers" in my future decks hehe. Glad you like them!

So following the discussion in the "KW Luxury Bicycle Subscription" thread, UK is likely charging custom taxes on Kickstarter projects fulfilled by GW :( ... I pledged for the [EARLY BIRD] ORDER TRIDENT plus shipping + Coin + Booklet which came to a total of £63.78 GBP, not sure how much GW marked it on the parcel (still at customs, apparently), but custom charges were as follows:
Order Custom Charges - Royal Mail UK.png
Order Custom Charges - Royal Mail UK.png (22.39 KiB) Viewed 2598 times
Last time I also got a custom charge with Montenzi's Hello Tiki V2, pledged level Ultra Tier #1 (Red, Black, White) with shipping by GW with a total of £53.74 GBP, GW marked it as $19 USD (currency rate = £14.75 GBP now) on the parcel, and I was charged £11.79 (3.79 VAT + 8 handling fee).

I'm not saying that there's anything wrong about custom charges, but to answer some speculations on the other thread, it seems that the price and "gifts or goods" on the parcel determine how you would be charged customs. The gray zone is how KS is viewed: a storefront or a funding platform? Yet, either way GW is a storefront with no doubt, and the price marked on the parcel will always be seen as imported goods. How GW marks the price on the parcel I don't know, but in the case of UK, the threshold is £15 GBP... very easy to surpass :?

Just a heads-up for all UK folks around here.

I found that page when justplaycards and I got whipped with our Supremas, and what I don't understand is why we're charged VAT on postage etc.? We've paid that to USPS or whoever; why are HM Customs making money off of that?

And not to mention that we're charged VAT and customs on the cost of goods plus postage, like they're charging us twice.

I think the reason is that they charge it on anything where money is transferred OUT of the country, which I suppose makes sense if you want to encourage people to spend their money nationally.

Got hit this time too when my propaganda box arrived through UPS. "Fun" fact: in Belgium the administrative fees is a flat 26€, whatever the value declared above 20$...
Fun, fun, fun...
I ended up paying 45€, since GW declared 50$ (which means that if what you buy is worth 50$, you end up paying twice that amount... And thus even more than twice if the value is below that).

As I told Gio, I'm still enjoying the box... But man, that hurt and makes me have bad thoughts about the way my country is milking people buying things outside of the EU.

Yes I mentioned this earlier in the thread that UPS whom they use also charges a handling fee on top of the customs charge, which is just more profit for them. Where if it came royal mail you would just pay the customs charge direct. Why I don't back any of their KS any more.

Just had a quick look at the sale, specifically the Big Scary Brick, checking them off as I go. I have 1 of each. I realise they're retail prices but doing the math, hmm. I think I need to cut back a bit next year.

I think I don't understood well what you was trying to say - are the retail prices too high? Or the price of the Big Scary Brick (or the Halloween sale in general) too low?

This year's bundle is a little less crazy than latest (last year I did a relative mistake, the fun of manage a company on my own) - however, even this year some items have crazy prices.

Black Friday will have different deals and maybe some new releases (Exquisite Fortuna almost for sure, confirmation in the next days).

No, I'm saying if I bought them NOW at the retail price (i.e. the not sale price), I hadn't realised I'd have to spend that much. The retail price of that box is over $800 for me.

TL:DR -- boy am I glad I got in early!
