Halloween / Trick or Treat (Kings Wild Shorts, Oct. 2019)
I didn't see a thread for this deck yet
Personally I'm not sure the open-ended tuck really works on a practical level - I bought two DS1 sleeves to put my LE and SE in (sans cello ) but regardless of whether I like it I'm really glad to see Jackson trying something different I would have liked to see the standard edition have a "regular" tuck but that's okay

I like these as well. One of the few I would like from the sub service. Other than this one I am glad I didn't get a sub. Not that they are not great, just not the style I would normally purchase.

I just received my decks (except the gilded version, which will get shipped next month). I do like the cut out tuck design. It works for this design nicely. The cards handle great (expected since they were printed by USPCC). It is a little trickier getting the cards back in the tuck due to the serrated edges, but not that hard. I am really going to like it with the gilded deck as I will be able to admire the gilding without having to unwrap the deck.

Yep. Standards will be $15. There are about 100 standard decks left. If you miss it for some reason, PM me and I’ll sell you one of mine at cost plus shipping.

Just a heads up, this is available on the site already, 10 minutes before 12 CT. I got two decks, thanks to everyone who offered extras, it's very much appreciated.
Eagerly awaiting this one.

This is one of the best decks from JR lately. I would love to get some, but JR doesn't offer paypal payment on his site, so I will have to pass on these. What a pity.

You may want to check Dentyne's thread in the "Members decks for sale" section. He's got several on sale. And he says he's going to Portugal in December, so you could save $$$ in shipping costs and Customs fees!sms69x wrote:This is one of the best decks from JR lately. Re: Halloween / Trick or Treat (Kings Wild Shorts, Oct. 2019
Received these yesterday. They were actually on track for Halloween delivery which would have been great, but happy autumn, we got single digit temps and snow that delayed mail by a day.
This is now one of my favorite decks that I own, I can't praise it enough. It combines a perfect Halloween cheap kitsch look with excellent artistry. The courts blend seamlessly. The tuck isn't exactly practical, but it's a bag of candy. I also had not seen the diamonds before in any photos, was very pleased to see Ol' Scratch himself make an appearance.
10/10 this hits my style exactly and does it with perfect execution.

This is definitely a deck worth opening. The groovy ghoulie artwork is just so fun, and so is the novel tuck. I wouldn't want too many decks with tucks like that because they wouldn't travel well, but I guess you can just put them in a box. Neat-o!
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.

From what I can see from the pictures, this is one of the best decks Jackson has ever done. This, the upcoming Nutcracker deck and the Invocation at the same year... All 3 decks are in his TOP 5 works so far.
