For all 3, hence my possible or plausible comment. It'd have to be pretty damn special for me to spend us$65 on a single deck. Of course that doesn't preclude me from spending $65 on a deck WITHIN a set, but I think you'll risk alienating folks if you set the bar any higher.

Also, UC Annual decks haven't been to expensive in the past. Edgy Bros did the first UC Annual deck I bought, and 4 decks then was us$50 plus shipping

Some details (TBC):

* $42-$45 for all three EB, it's $14-15 + shipping

I'll start with foil on one side only, but foil on both sides is the main goal.
* Funding goal is low - US$12k for the first deck. Next goal - US$22k for two and US$32k for three. Foil both sides - $35-40k.

It will be much easier if I print one deck only in foil.

I would like at least one standard, "regular" deck if that's still an option after 31 pages. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. Foil is great but how can we miss it if it's never gone?

EDIT BTW your price point looks good except the "+shipping" part. That scares me because that will not be cheap, right? Call me a spoiled, American card collector but I could give two poops how much a deck costs. All that matters is how much it takes to get to my front door and right now, this campaign scares me.

Look, NEO:WAVE ULTRA is still unique as it was printed with lots of colors on top of a foil, both sides of the cards. I know one deck only, which is available now, but that's it. One-color silver/gold/holofoil decks are not a reference for me! So my question - what's a reason to pay $3-6 less and receive yet another standard deck?

Seriously! I can, but you'll get all three at the same price. It's easier and more profitable for me

I'll probably do it!

If you know a good example, please let me know! I do want to buy this deck and use it as a reference!

I would hope for at least one deck, EB or otherwise, for about $15 US ( + shipping if necessary). That's pretty much my upper end for a single deck. $60 US (shipping inclusive) for a complete set might be possible but it would be a stretch. I know I'm just a bottom feeder here but still a UC member so I would hate to have to pass on the UC Deck of the Year. I don't mind having non-foiled "players decks" since it is the actual design that interests me more than the extras. Whatever you decide, best of luck and I hope to be a part of the campaign.

It should be $14 * 3 + 7 = $49 for a set shipped to US (early birds or super early birds)!

Some of you asked about UC members-only discounts. It's a discount! This deck should be sold at $17-20 on KS.

If I produce one deck in foil, it will be available at $20-25.

It is bizarre, isn’t it?

I was being encouraged by a US based friend - who drove to the convention to ninja for me and a few others - to buy *THIS* deck for, from memory, US$100. Did the maths and it was, all up, $165. Yeah, not happening... Not even Lotrek could entice me to spend that on a single deck.

Yes, one deck in foil and two standard decks.

Based upon the way the answers are shaping up, I'm guessing that the wording for question one might be a little confusing. I only knew how to answer it because I'd read the discussion above carefully.

Yeah, I answered YES to the first question, thinking it referred to printing one of the decks "only in foil". Seeing the results, I doubt I'm the only one.

I changed the question to: "Should we use foil on one deck only". That's why you see updated results to this question!

What about printing 1 deck with foil and the "player's edition" with metallic ink? Just thinking out loud for the most part. All ideas are good though. Tough choice it will be.

The ONLY way to make it more affordable is to print standard decks (standard boxes, standard inks, etc.) Otherwise, we'll get all three for $50, regardless. So it's for three in foil OR one in foil and two standard. If I print one in foil, I should print 3000-5000 decks to give you the same price. But my current plan is to print 1000-1700 each color.

I might still print two standard decks! It's 50/50.

RESULTS after 39 responses ( BTW, Total members on UC: 4706. Forty votes means that there are 100-200 active members only on UC)
