Charging shipping after the fact allows me to get the goal as low as possible and is absolutely the fairest way to handle shipping without making a tier for every quantity of decks. If you build the cost straight into the per-deck amount, you overcharge (or you lose money, I suppose.) I'm only charging exactly as much as I have to in order to fulfill them. Is $17.45 US / $21.74 International for one deck, including shipping, really that outrageous? Because it looks pretty competitive to me, and it only gets better the more decks you get.

If you think that the value isn't there for this particular deck, so be it. I wouldn't be doing this for a third time if everyone hated it.

A vast majority of people who buy cardistry decks will buy ANYTHING if the creator just types in the typical cardistry hype bullshit lingo. Their stupidity is truly baffling, selling a deck to them is easier than selling a bottle of water to a man dying of thirst, no matter how little time and effort it took to create those decks or how bad they look they will buy it if the creator says that it is "limited edition", "modern minimalistic design" "classic, elegant, timeless" "perfect for magic and cardistry" etc etc etc

You really seem to take pride in your work and take it seriously and I appreciate it. But in selling playing cards, we have seen time and time again that the bare minimum amount of half hazard work is enough to sell thousands and thousands of decks. So the fact that this has been done two times already doesn't really mean anything...

I recommend for you to try it, on your next campaign design something truly lazy and just write in the right things in a right way and idiots will buy them, I guarantee it.

Christian. I'm really not trying to be an a**h*** when I say that I see a donut when I look at the design. I was raised on Krispy Kreme donuts so I guess I'm just reliving happy memories. Seriously though, part of my issue is the color and part is the perfectly round circle. A design more like the graphic you have with the cards might be a bit better. I know that black holes are round (thanks to science) but nothing in nature is perfectly round. A bit of imperfection might make your design more...perfect.

Sorry for the long silence, I've spent the last week with a flu; I'm still trying to shake it. I'm freaking tired and running a Kickstarter to boot

I like the perfect circle (pretending at minimalism, I suppose) but now that I've done it, I wonder if the vortex was meant to be this whole time

I think the rough edge fits the best with the outside edge, though I'm sure you could rework that too to better fit the vortex, which also looks good.

Thanks so much! It is crushed stock, though. The full ink coverage does affect the feel (I was hoping they'd feel like 1ST V2s, which also use crushed classic and feel really good!) but they do feel nicer than standard bikes.
