Everything is with USPCC now and I am waiting for pricing. We are going with borders on the jokers. I will let everyone know once thin gs get finalized.

Thanks!

I think that's a cool idea. It would also mean that you might be able to spot the jokers (just barely) from glancing at the edge of the deck. Could be used kinda like a key card.

Borders or no borders... Never seen a mouse like that.

But I'm not an intense PC user. :|

Looks like a MAC mouse more than anything. Kudos incorporating the use of technology into a deck based on an online forum! Very creative IMO.

And as far as the borders go, I would have prefered them but that doean't stop me from loving this deck and especially loving the idea of this deck. I think it's wicked cool that a deck is being created for the people, by the people (and Randy, of course)! Has that ever happened before? Pretty neat IMO.

The jokers will have borders as with the rest of the deck.

Thanks!

Yep. I've been a MAC user since the early 90's so it's heavily influenced by Apple-designed computer mice (and the UC Deck AOS). I still remember the "Hockey Puck" mouse from my Purple iMac back in the day! My ex-wife wasn't too keen on spending the money for it, so getting the Purple version was a way to soften her concerns!

thanks, Randy

I'm pretty sure Apple made those Macs with women in mind... I forgot about those hockey puck mice! But in any case, I have never and will never be an Apple user. Not my cup of tea. Still love the deck though!

Check out the jokers. They are slightly different. One is a gaff. One is lights on and the other is lights off.
Is the gaff the "lights on" effect, or did I miss something else?

Yep, just the ON / OFF lighting change between the 2 Jokers. I wanted to keep it subtle and logical. I didn't want to throw in a card, suit or UC Logo reveal just for the sake of including it!

Thanks, Randy

WOW!!!! All I can say is WOW!!! USPCC has bent over backwards to work with us. I just got the pricing for the new deck. Here is what we get:

1) A Bicycle Branded Deck
2) A Custom Seal
3) Embossing & Foil on the Box
4) Green Foil on the Inside of the box

All those upgrades and we will still be able to sell the deck for $4.95!!!!! I think this is truly amazing!!! Well, I have done everything I can and now it is up to you guys. I plan on setting something up so you guys can buy it. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Thanks!

Yes. While I was given an option of waiting a few months for the possibility of doing a 1,000 deck run(There were no guarantees that would happen), the cost of the tuck box would have increased dramatically, so the deck would have ended up costing significantly more.

Thanks!

Wow, this is great! I'm gonna buy more than 1 now for sure! Maybe I'm counting my chickens before they hatch but I'm so happy UC is getting a deck created where other forums (no need to mention) have tried and failed.

Is it safe to say this is a revolutionary creation in the playing card world? The first online forum inspired deck?

That's the plan, but it is up to you guys to make this happen. I am not making money on this deck, so we have to be able to pre-sell them or the deck won't get printed. I have contacted my webmaster to see if he could set something up to buy right on the forum. If not, they will be sold through my website.

Thanks!

These do look great - better than many of the $15/deck KS projects - I'm definitely in for a brick :-).

Mike: will we be able to put these in for the Shipping Saving program? (For us poor internationals ;) ) I guess it could be a month or two before being printed...

Yes, but you have to pay shipping now and that amount will be credited to your overall shipping once your combined shipping order is completed and ready for shipping.

Thanks!
