Soooo we just had someone see successful themes like Cthulhu and Steampunk make a deck, NOW we see someone find the 8-bit and presidential themes being successful and BOOM....we get this.

Re: Pixel Lincoln: Bicycle Playing Cards live on Kickstarter
At this point, I feel like most of the garbage on Kickstarter is generated by throwing darts at a wall of random ideas. This time it was pixel Lincon. Next time it will be sepia Charlie Chaplin eating pasta. Move over Grid and Quicksilver!!

You know, it's cute. That's the only word that really comes to mind for this deck, and that's not a bad or good thing with me.
But what really bothers me is that they're running 3 other projects at the same time as this one, as well as still in the process of producing at least 2 other completed projects. That's not to mention the funding goal of 8k to print a bicycle deck. Which is about half of what you need, isn't it? (Correct me if I'm wrong)
I would pledge for at least 1 for the sake of having it in my collection, were it not for the above issues.

I think the 8k would cover the printing of the minimum 2500 decks but would leave no money for shipping.Atemus wrote:You know, it's cute. That's the only word that really comes to mind for this deck, and that's not a bad or good thing with me.

Don't forget to add in the kickstarter fee (10%?).DukeBoy wrote:I think the 8k would cover the printing of the minimum 2500 decks but would leave no money for shipping.Atemus wrote:You know, it's cute.
