Not sure if this is where this should go, but seemed like a good guess. Feel free to move it where ever you think would be more proper.
But does anyone know what happened to Conjuring Creations? I know they went out of business, but I've never heard of WHY. I've always liked the eco clips, and personally like them much more than the porper which always seem to damage the decks I'm trying to protect.
On a side note, any advice on breaking in a porper clip? I've heard the whole "it's supposed to be that tight, don't try to loosen it," but I would rather ruin the clip than the deck, you know?

Re: Eco card clips
HEY Robert Butler started conjuring creations and ripped many people off. People paid
for Eco clips but they were never made. He now trys to create companies using different
names but has been found out a couple times. He and a guy Alex Issiacs (real name Alex Yusupov)
created a company called
Aethercards which also proved a scam. Many people played for things and never received them.
They both produce things under different names so be careful.

And I don't understand why you would need to "break in" a porper clip. Just remove ad cards/jokers if it's too tight, or add some from other decks if it's too loose.

Re: Eco card clips
Being one of his last major customers I can say them going out of business was for the best. The reasons fell into 2 categories. 1. Robert being a horrible "business" person, 2. The shop creating the clips being as responsible as he is.
Robert has absolutely no idea what he's doing and tries to release "products/services" in order to make money from people who he knows he can take advantage of. Just look at all the websites, fake names, products/services he has come up with in just a YEAR. Once he got his money from people, he apparently doesn't feel it's necessary to finish his job. When he failed to deliver our original Grid Clips on the deadline HE provided I asked for a refund and was told he can only refund me the cost of the clips getting produced because he had already spent his portion of "profit" and couldn't refund me the money. Once we went back and forth and the product was finally delivered, 4 months AFTER the deadline, in a not to satisfactory time and condition, I ask for compensation of some sort which he complete rejected.
The shop creating the clips are just as irresponsible as Robert is. They too realized they were in over their head and decided to close down the production of the clips. As far as I know Robert went to another company to produce the clips after we were done.
In the end, Conjuring Creations was just a way for Robert to scam people out of money. He continues to try and take credit for other people's work (see: Vanda, Loopcuts videos). When he's put under pressure he comes on these boards and offers empty apologies that only a moron as intellectually flawed as he is can accept. Which is probably why he sticks more to the aethercards forums where those types of people are tolerated. Anyone that continues to work with him should be embarrassed.

Re: Eco card clips
Thanks for the information guys. I was unaware that Robert was involved, but I have heard of his involvement with the Vortex fiasco. It's too bad that no one reputable could get into making them. Both the Tendril clip and the Grid clip look really good.
