Of all the decks I have found on the internet, this has to be the most unique :D It's a Russian set of tea bags that also form a 36 card fully custom deck of playing cards.

At least one for sale HERE ON EBAY for 29 USD + Shipping from Russia.

This is the novelty "deck" to end all novelty decks. What more do you want?

You can also buy this deck from at least a few Russian online stores. For much cheaper.

HERE is one for 444 rubles. That's less 7 USD. Only problem is that all the information is in Russian and written in cyrillic so you know, good luck. Also I have no idea if they ship abroad.

HERE is one 492 rubles, about 7,5 USD. All cyrillic. And HERE is one for 422,12 rubles, less than 6,5 USD.

Brad's wife is Russian right? Could she figure out if any of these sites ship abroad? Buying from these should be much cheaper than that ebay listing. Also member Fedoseeva is Russian but she is not that active here...

*drools* my love and tea and my love of collecting are conflicted. i can.....drink my cards!

description translation from one of the sites:

Original gift assorted, 36 sachets.
Tea bags are made in the form of 36 cards. Looking into the future and the unknown!
Enjoy Curtis tea and get Wishes and Hot Predictions from tea cards ...
4 suits = 4 tastes
Worms - Isabella Grape
Black tea with the aroma of red grapes
Bubi - Mango
Light and tender taste of Chinese green tea and exotic mango sweetness
Peaks - Ceylon
Ceylon black tea with a pleasant floral flavor
Clubs - Truffle
A blend of black tea with delicate chocolate truffle flavor
On each tea sachet a special “prediction” is written. Choose the taste that you want to try right now and find out the tea prediction for today!

At least the first link provided in the Russian online store message, the tea shop, ships abroad!

I wasn't able to find if the other two do but who cares! I'll check on how much one deck would cost to be sent to Finland.

Edit: The shipping costs abroad are calculated individually. You first have to make a pre-payment of the goods without the shipping charges, then the manager contacts you to calculate the shipping. *sigh* How am I not suprised that the Russians manage to make everything as hard as possible. I won't make that pre payments because you can never know on how much the actual shipping would cost.

Edit2: Just checked the other two stores more carefully, both only talk about shipping within Russia, no mentions of shipping abroad of what can I find.

My version of a custom "Tea Bag" card deck would look verrrry different, mainly because I am an immature moron. This is such a bizarre and unique concept. I can't tell if I love it or hate it. Just a fantastic find!

If you end up buying one Amy, could you upload it to Portfolio52 as well once it arrives?

And upload your thoughts on the stock used and the card quality

Everybody, SerKoN is trying to see if he can order these for a Russian sites to his home in Ukraine and there to us!

However we have no idea yet, Sergei contacted one website and they asked him to wait a bit and asked him to contact some other person in the company. Sergei said he will try to contact them on monday. But at least they didn't say no right away, so I would say there might be a chance.

I'll let you know if Sergei is able to get these, the decks are actually on sale currently on the site. But yeah, if he is able to pull this off, I'd say that those that want to own one of these decks, let Sergei know about it so he can get you one at the same order. But currently this speculation is a bit premature.

Hats off to Sergei for helping!

More like Selma Hayek playing Frida Kahlo ... minus the unibrow ;)

If SerKoN would be willing to do a group purchase, I'd definitely be interested!!! (despite having coffee running through my veines)

While traveling we didn't had poker chips with us once. We ended up using different tea bags as chips instead. These would have made the ridiculousness complete :D  for these evenings.
