Hi,
Tim from Gemini here.
We are getting ready to send next year decks into production and we would like to ask your opinion on the Monte Carlo Casino decks.
What do you think of the artwork?
Would you like to see white or red color version of this deck?
We would like to print both but since we still can't use Kickstarter we are only investing into one color at first. We haven't printed any decks with embossing and gold foil yet and it's really difficult to predict the demand for such deck.
Like all Gemini decks this one is also designed by Toomas Pintson.
Please do let us know what you think. Your feedback would be much appreciated!
Tim

Woah something new instead of recolour ":-)
Anyway, love the red more idk why, but the white version can be gold foiled version, like gold monarch?
Only thing bugging me is the 4 crest? circle on the back. As i like to see more of the repeated pattern
Would put inside the clubs or at the side (dice location) or face cards.

What is happening?! This is not the Gemini that I know
But this design is a major YESSS in comparison to the long line of cardistry outputs recently.
That gold fence pattern and the thick black clubs on white but still leaving enough white is not so common in the playing card scene, whereas red color scheme is all over the place. I vote for black/gold on white, but only when the white blank spaces are not overly occupied if any adjustments are made.

I'm not much of a casino style or themed deck kind of guy, but compared to the cardistry Gemini decks, this is leagues above in design and appeal.
Without seeing the card faces, this tuck would have to have matte stock, embossing and foil at a good price to entice me. I wouldn't give it a second glance if it were in a standard glossy tuck.

The back designs look too busy for a casino deck. Lose the 4 circles and 4 quarter circles on the corners. Let's see how it looks without them. IMHO , they spoil the classy elegant look you're aiming for.

Very much so like the red version. White could look good with some gold foil as mentioned above. Red look great as is. I am not terribly familiar with the Gemini decks, what kind of courts do you guys like? Hopefully not terrible illustrations of your friends in court regalia.
