Hey guys,

I'm planning on starting a Kickstarter-campaign in one or two months but before printing the prototypes (there's gonna be an epic trailer) I wanted to get some feedback from you!
I appreciate every comment, no matter if you love the design or absolutely hate it. The only thing that can make those playing cards better is your honest opinion!

I've worked on this project for two years now and I'm so happy that it's finally ready to be used by people all over the world!

(Unfortunately, I can only post 4 attachments but I think you'll get a good impression of what the deck is gonna look like)

Never tried E7 but heard that they are thinner. I prefer thick cards

Assuming this is intended to be a cardistry deck, I personally look for decks with something in all four corners of the face so counterclockwise fans don't look all white. You have a corner design over the indices, which is probably unnecessary; move it to the opposite corner then a fan in any direction will show at least something.

Great idea! I'll see how it looks - at least right-handed fans aren't completely blank because of the stripes on the righthand side (the ones that look like an Adidas product placement). I get what you mean, though.
I personally never thought that there's a need for a counterclockwise fan (besides magic), but I understand that some people might appreciate it.
Thus, thank you for your honest critique! I'll make a couple of drafts to see how it looks!

I treat cardistry and coin manipulation as a demonstration of dexterity, and as Inigo Montoya demonstrated, few things are as impressive as doing something competently with your left hand then revealing "I am not left handed." I also find motions are much more fluid when I can do a desired move with whichever hand the cards have wound up in from previous flourishes.

Plus, it's just options. Cardistry decks are meant to serve one purpose, that's to look good when you do tricks with them. Having corner designs lets you do either an index fan or a "pretty" fan. I like it when deck artists consider the multitude of ways the cards can be presented and offer different looks for all of them.

I think that works out well, seems to fill blank space and even out the artwork. It also lines up the corners with the ones on the back design.

Huge improvement, not just for cardistry but general appearance. White space now forms a clean line from one index across the face to the other index and index readability is improved.

Have you got an idea on how to improve the back design? I feel like that ain't it yet!

I don't think the gradient fade-out really works - why not have just those lines cross the border? And maybe have the lines get darker/colorful when they're at the edge The drop shadow effect of the hexagonal symbol in the middle also doesn't really look too great IMO, but I'm not sure how to fix that one

I see mummy wrappings or paper fresh from the shredder. Perhaps do some reflection on what a line is, what it symbolizes, where they are present in our world. Hey, maybe something related to ley lines, if you are interested in that kind of stuff.

The back design is super cool! However, the soft shading doesn't seem to fit with how the face of the cards are being drawn, in the sense that the faces are solid colors while the back and background has an airbrush type of shading attached with it. But overall, these cards look super nice and we can't wait to see them come out!
