Not including the tracking email Gio graciously provided me before I got the cards.

Lol, I have no patience, so I begged Gio for tracking info. I already knew they were close, but apparently GW has some issues with the notification side of things
I got my notification email a few hours after my decks were delivered.

I guess I'm curious if designers/creators get annoyed by GW dropping the ball with tracking info? It means a LOT more DMs and emails to have the creator provide it rather than having it sent out by GW in the first place. Is it a simple annoyance or a serious issue that creators keep in mind the next time they use GW for fulfillment?

FWIW, I could see the pending shipment via USPS Informed Delivery for a solid week before they were delivered, but could only guess it was GW based on the Grand Prairie, TX location. While showing in Informed Delivery, it had the tracking info and said USPS was waiting for the item.

GW shipments always do this for me too - for Monolith USPS was awaiting the item... and then suddenly it was delivered

Gio! You sneaky designer!
No tracking number, no message, nothing... And bam! Three precious decks at my door today  :o :D

Now the big question(s): at what pace opening those, and in which order?

I know I've stated previously that I'm not an opener of decks, but Gold deck #47 (my lowest Gio seal ever, btw) has a good home.

Received mine today and the Gold deck is just breathtaking, I don't think it would have worked with a more traditionally gio mythological design, the celestial designs elevate these decks to something really out of this world.

Thank you for the kind words, guys! I always encourage to open decks, especially the Monoliths :P
Black and White are relatively high stock, so I will sell them for the following months. I will probably give to Monolith backers a chance to get more of them at a discounted price - I guess many backed them carefully (since the price was relatively high and they didn't know how the result would be) and now want another more to open... would be a good idea?

However, I can understand if you prefer don't open a low number Gold Monolith, is almost sold out permanently (last ones will be sold in mid summer, for the ones interested).

@Adonael - "I don't think it would have worked with a more traditionally gio mythological design" - Who knows??? ;) ;) ;) I might make it work, maybe ;) ;) ;)

@Kurama - I love bersekers - might be one of my future themes :P

I'm [banning offence] tired, full bellied and I need a shower after that shift, but it's 20 mins to Order's launch and that sweet sweet single-digit backer number & EB price is keeping me awake.

Off to the shower I guess.

Ah, well that Jack of Spades pencil drawing was a gift from Lorenzo as part of the bonus stuff we got for being an "Attic" tier backer. I believe all attic tier backers got an original drawing from Lorenzo. I normally do not like obscured faces on court cards, but in this case, it was brilliant.

As for the fun markings, just a joke. I am imagining Gio's Monolith having some fun at Lorenzo. In any event it was a dry erase marker on glass. Note the mustache and beard drawn as a typical defacement. No risk of damaging that great print.

I actually didn't notice those until you pointed it out. I'm looking on mobile though. I'll have to pull it upon desktop and get a better look. I especially couldn't tell some of the writing was on top of glass so that was what really had me wondering. Thanks for sharing.

Browsing ebay this afternoon, no change out for $300 ($290+shipping+FCC+VAT+ID) for the triptych. KS//TWI price: $155. I think I got a good deal.
