You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

I already know which one this is and almost posted it myself.

"This deck has all the elements of what I think about when I think of TACOS and my culture. Tacos, Taco Trucks, Luchador Masks, Avocados and Peppers, etc."

Following in the footsteps of the Amsterdam deck, someone else who bizarrely stereotypes their own culture so hard it makes me cringe in embarrassment for them.

Because when I think of Mexican identity, I don't think of a rich history of Aztecs, Maya, and other Mesoamericans, Spanish conquistadores and missionaries, I don't imagine frontier life or colonial monarchism and revolution, or mixed hostile and friendly relations with the US, or the formation of a national identity known around the world. I just think of tacos, buddy. Tacos and taco trucks! And avocados!

It isn't saying much, but even without seeing the rest of the cards, this deck seems to have much more design than a colored rectangle or a red dot inside said colored rectangle.

So there's that.

That is not really a big hurdle to clear now, is it?

I was intrigued until I saw this is just a deck for a taco-related business. There's no magic here. Tacos excite me and this deck depresses me. The deck is standard aside from a simple pattern of icons on the back and a simple tuck with a decorative font. No love for collectors here - just another hype deck in this case.

When I think "tacos" I think colors. This deck is black, white and red. NO. (Not to mention that RIDICULOUS price...)

Yeah, there isn't any black or red in my tacos...

Usually white, yellow, brown... All of the bodily fluid colors.

So I'm supposed to make a "Brazil" deck with samba, soccer, butts and corrupt politicians? Oh, let's not forget about the slums, monkeys and a little love for Amazonia.

No beans. Rarely tomatoes.

I'm a meat, cheese, and sauce kinda guy.
