At least they added another colored rectangle to make a cigar band effect.

But are they still NOC's? How much can you change a minimalist design like these before they become something else?

I have more NOCs than I'd care to admit and was asking myself the same thing. I guess by the acronym of NOC these would still fly as it is still technically "only color". Who knows though.

Not interested.

Nope not interested either.

It was more tongue in check that a deck being famous for being a colored rectangle dared to be different and spice it up by adding yet another colored rectangle.

At least NOCs are priced accordingly for what they are (I think that is the consensus). These will probably be more though.

I'm not a cardist and should have never bought them though.

For the NOCs, yes, they are. He tweaked the courts and swapped the colours. He even added the small rectangle of color to the back! Which will make it cardistry friendly. After all, if Lotrek can produce a standard deck with just color changes and call it Less, why can't Alex do the same with his NOCs. (just j/k, before anyone brands me a heretic for even comparing Alex's NOCs to a Lotrek deck!)

So by my calculation, it'll be NOCS 10000z15 before NOCs become something most of us collectors will consider passable by UC standards..... :D

That would be the first Lorenzo deck that gets a hard pass from me...

The regular and limited editions will really be limited in my collection. You might even consider them rare in my collection. Maybe even unavailable in my collection. I wish the NOC hype train all the best though. I'll just stay behind this time.

Personally the only NOCs I like enough to own are the signature series - the light 3000s aren't bad, but not worth $20. Nice to see some new design flourishes :D

NOC x Lotrek 2020?
