Thanks. Yes, in a well-lit room the colors are definitely different. It is more noticeable once you get rid of the cellophaneTimmargh wrote:Nice photo! Best one I've seen so far that distinguishes between the tucks.

I checked the Kickstarter page and the stock is indeed denoted as Cambric 310gr Black Core paper with 9C² varnish. I can' t deny that the cards are soft and smooth as butter hence spreads and springs are effortless, they just fly out of your hand. I've got a theory that they are difficult to faro because the cutting process doesn't leave an edge on them, so they can't slide off each other. Anyways, these are great decks if you're not into cardistry.JuFiN wrote:If I understand correctly the stock on this deck is actually not the same as the Copag or Rising spade. So far Cartamundi has offered two stocks and the vast majority of their decks are printed with B9 (copag, rising spade, just about everything else) but the RAVN decks including the previous purple ones are printed on what I believe is a slightly more expensive C9. I for one quite like it but it is definitely noticeably softer almost as if the cards are made of cloth. This may make it harder to faro but boy do they feel nice to hold in your hand!![]()
