Random (potentially obvious) Parlour Question:

So, is the Parlour considered a room of the House of the Rising Spade? It would fit with the feel of the HOTRS deck. On the Aces, we see Attic, Garden, Library, and Room 17. Parlour would be a nice fit, yes? Not to mention, the black deck has the gorgeous gold foil fronts we have come to love on the Cartomancer deck. Maybe we'll see future releases by S17 to expand the house more. Cellar, Study, Dungeon, Bathhouse?

Just pontificating over here. Carry on, my friends.

Just got off phone with Lorenzo. Discussing a few things among them what to do for a potential 1000% (!!!) stretch goal. Crazy. Anyway....

He’s exhausted. As am I. Lol. Feel like the channel is suffering. Someone today commented they missed my long Deck reviews.

Yikes, we're going to need to make these decks out of gold now.

Thanks for all the hard work to produce this deck! Remember to take care of yourself!

How about an invite to the launch party at Omar’s house in September at 1000%? But I like small parties, so make it just the first 45 backers? Yes, the first 45 only will be perfect! See you in September!

Seriously tho... just kicking around ideas....

(please keep this conversation to this board ok? THanks!)

5th Purple/Gold variant of the deck is an option. Does a split brick of 3/3/3/3 appeal? Collector's tier could get it for a small add-on fee. Everyone else can add it at normal price. Is 5 decks too messy? Too much? Are people fatigued?

A mini deck is an option. Perhaps a mini blue or red deck. This is more expensive for us. We could gift some or discount them for brick buyers.

We've already in essence blinged out the tucks and brick boxes. The gaff pack takes care of the magicians.

Anything more extravagant... poker chips (too specific), leather case (too late to design), carat case (nightmare for shipping) just don't feel motivating enough.

I've been trying to look at comparable campaigns... We're now in the top 15 all time cards projects on KS. Astonishing. Which means we don't have a lot of comparables. We seem poised to pass Mint 1 at any second. The closest similar project is Apothecary 2 which at the stage we are (10 days prior to end) were at $105k... they finished strong at $184.

It's not out of the realm of possibility to blow up like that... because according to my statistics we have 900+ people who have opted to be reminded of our campaign in the final 48 hours (25% of which have ALREADY converted). That leaves 700 potential backers. That's half of what we currently have.

I have no idea how this is gonna play out other than to say that I'm grateful and excited.

Also interesting...Only 39 brick backers have yet to add Dynastinae

Would it be possible to upgrade the red and blue decks?

Honestly, I would really like to see a purple deck  but 4 decks would be too many I think. Another option you can have would be a unique card clip add-on like how king and crooks did. Or you can sign a card, add a certificate, or even a cool looking collectors box.

Metallic ink used on cards would be a nice upgrade. Nothing insane, replace yellows of the face cards with gold or something.

I agree. I am actually floored that it is that few. Could you give me their email addresses of the other brick backers that didn't add on a Dynastinae deck so I could make them an offer?

I like the idea of the Dynastinae LTD to use green cold foil in addition to the gold cold foil if possible (not sure if you can mix silver (color to green) and gold cold foil on the same card.

I don't know if mini decks make sense for your brand. I mean a mini deck for Pluto was a natural choice and worked for the theme. Something else that would fit the parlor concept you like, but keep the current campaign's aesthetic? I am kind of going to t-shirt add ons, or mugs or something that expands your brand. How about a The Parlour nixie tube clock?

So, if I did my math correctly, you and Lorenzo should clear $3 Million each. What are you going to do with all that money?

Ah man I was really looking forward to a custom case / carat case of some sort. I guess... I could understand the troubles with that. The way that the carat case lined up with the mint logo was just a :nut:

I also don't feel that a mini deck would go with the current theme. Everything that the community desires on a campaign has happened... Only one thing left is for Lorenzo or TGW to meet up and to sign some brick boxes.

I think another color is too many. You don't need to keep adding things...! Stickers, do you already have those and I'm forgetting? Is it possible to have decks signed? A metal card?

I love the purple/gold color combo you mentioned, and I think it will make for an excellent part of your v2 campaign! Really looking forward to it.

I think that, at this point, either a larger coin (2" diameter is the size of choice) or those tasty mini-decks are the way to go for the 1000% stretch goal. And, then, I'd stop with the stretch goals for this campaign. Leave some gas in the tank for the next project, and work on hitting this one out of the park with what you've already committed to. :)

You and Lady Wake and Lorenzo are doing a fine, fine job with this campaign. My proverbial hat is off to you all!

I do not think a fifth deck is a good idea. Having 4 decks is ok but coming up with another one just feel forced.

Moreover, at some point you reach the limit between "yes, I'm in for this too" and "oh boy, another stuff I'd like but need a second mortgage to afford"... And the pleasure becomes pain... Especially for completists

I can't shake the feeling that if the campaign ended now, everyone would be perfectly happy :D

I'm also not on board with the 5th deck idea, with too many color variations the series will start to look tooo easy and cheap tbh... I'd rather have tuck/card details upgraded at least for the Black or the Dynastinae LTD since these were later creations.

Or maybe some discount codes for purchasing on Lorenzo's website?

I also agree with others that a 5th deck is too many and mini decks don’t feel right. I wouldn’t mind the brick box being signed, but I can imagine the logistics for that would be a nightmare.

Are there any reasonable upgrades that can be made to the blue / red / black decks that are feasible give the remaining time?

Well a fifth deck also seems too much for me... after the fifth deck then waht?? 1000% you will bring a 6th deck?? I think it makes no sense...

Now one big improvement and a way to thank your backers would be to upgrade the Dynastinae to have different courts... I don't mean to go fully custom, but add some details to differentiate this deck from the others. Or you could go for cold foil on the faces, that would make for a tremendous streatch goal, you could save it for, 900%, but adding another deck is something that in the limit would make me downgrade my pledge instead of upgrading.

Now something that is quite phenomenal is that last update, I have to congrat you and Lorenzo for taking the time and effort to make the things easier on EU backes. This is something that I can appretiate and for sure will make me up my pledge as a sign of respect for your effort.

Yep, save it for round two. We already swerved once to hammer to fit 4/4/4 bricks, another curve might annoy many people. I mean, no explanation required, the bricks went from dozens to hundreds. Letting people specify otherwise than 4/4/4 would be insane - sooner or later. ;^)

FYI. Lorenzo has corrected me. The courts do not currently have metallic ink. They are rasterized and not vector. Investigating how tough to convert.
