Bradius wrote:There were only 250 of the Gatekeeper decks and they didn't sell out super fast. There were only 730 of the Silk decks produced in total and there are still a few left. Only 200 of the Burlwood Box sets by Alex Chen in his last campaign (I seem to recall those did sell out in a flash). While this campaign has way surpassed what I thought it would do for a semi-custom deck, I still think that if limited to 777 decks, they shouldn't sell out super fast. I guess though it comes down to price and quality. Which, to be honest, TGW and Lorenzo have been hitting it out of the park all day long on this campaign. In which case, suggest we keep close tabs and click fast. It is always best to be safe.

Of course, letting all that want the limited decks for a period of time is always nice too, or another option is to open it for a period of time and if not all of the expected number are sold, then open it until sold out or the campaign ends. If you want to still print the full number and sell later, I am cool with that too. I think though the real reason for the limit is the labor involved in the limited decks and they don't want to end up having to spend a year or two just making thousands of these limited decks.

Also, I think that the limited decks should be open to all on the campaign with another regular order rather than limited only to brick backers and/or those in EB tiers. Everybody should be given a fair chance to get a limited deck. Not everyone can back a brick financially or even due to space at home, but may really want a limited deck for a smaller collection.

Anyway, I am not worried, I'll fire up my four Kickstarter accounts if need be to siphon off what I need.
The Gatekeeper deck is no different than one of the decks offered in THotRS campaign. It's not the same thing.

This KS-LE deck will have a recolored back design and will be gilded. That makes the actual cards within the new tuck unique and more desirable.

Ok. Some UC exclusive mock ups to show. As always refrain from reposting or discussing any of this with the non-UC outside world please! Thanks!

Here is the current version of the tuck Parlour Dynastinae LTD deck. We still aren’t sure of color choice yet. Feel free to chime in.

Green option?
Image

White option?

Here’s a look at a possible duo tone green back.
Image

We are looking into what a white back looks like. Also green and white rather than green and gray. Lots to decide.

I like the green tuck better than the white. Looks good! That back is looking awesome!

TGW, congrats on hitting 6X. Crazy, but well-deserved. For what you have shown so far, I prefer the Green and Gold tuck over the White and Gold tuck. Not saying the White and Gold is bad, quite the contrary. However, it seems like that Green color stands out as being unique and would be unique to my collection. Also, it reminds me of being in a high-end casino in Monte Carlo or something. I am in for whatever is decided, just wanted to chime in.

Agreed. The green tuck is more in line with that back, which is awesome already... Curious about the other backs you mention...

I will put in the unpopular vote for the white tuck. Also, the side of the tuck says "fiinest".

I have seen this mentioned in other places, but will the title being over the top of the crease on the front of the box create any issues? Foil flaking or wearing off causing a white line down the center of the wording? In other topics, some have suggested moving print up or down to avoid being over the crease.

It's like that one the other decks too, so probably not a big deal.

When have you ever seen a movie where they see an attractive woman and say, "Damn, she is fine."? No, they say, "Damn, she is fiiiiiiine!" Maybe that's what TGW and Lorenzo are going for here. This deck is the fiiiiiiinest! Also, I would vote for the white/gold combo.

Thanks for catching the Typos. Evidently Limited was also spelled Limided. LOL. We will correct. And PROOF read. lol

Once again just to iterate, I am still overwhelmed with gratitude over the success of this campaign.

THis project now has the distinction of being the highest funded project in Lorenzo's S17 history! Not bad for a collab with youtuber with a small (albeit PASSIONATE) fanbase.

Prove it by making the LTD deck available to all/most backers, even ones who couldn't afford a brick! :ugking:

That is incredible because Lorenzo has had a helluva fantastic history in the industry! This project was the perfect marriage of designer and curator. You understand the collecting community and Lorenzo has the masterful skill to bring any concept to life. I am completely amazed by this collaboration and look forward to where this momentum carries both of you.

I'm a sucker for any green deck and the mock card looks great! Now just save one for me please, a 2 deck EB plus Black backer, like Paul.
Move on, nothing to see here.

There were 2 giants of the playing card community with 2 fanbases for this, along with the excellent campaign, I am not surprised at the huge success.

As of now the idea is they will be made available in the following manner (STILL To be finalized--subject to change)

Brick + LTD (400 available) $170 . (LTD comes out to $30)
Parlour Collector's Set (377 available) $90. Includes EB Pair, Black Deck Add-on, Free COIN, and LTD comes out to $45.

EDIT: We don't know how fast they will go. We think we will hit 100k however, which of course will include a free gaff pack (14 cards) for everyone in Brick tiers. Subject to change caveat.

You'll reach over 110k selling all those. They will all sell.

Will they be limited to one per backer account? One per brick? Or free for all if you bought a brick? This for the 400 brick amount of course.

Basically, if one cannot log in and purchase in the 10 minutes after offering, will one still be able to get one? I speculate they will go very fast, especially if you can get more than the amount of bricks one purchased. Probably faster than some can refresh.

That's correct. People will be able to move into the new tiers by simply managing their pledges.

So every person can only get 1 ltd deck?

Also, I wonder what the deck would like like with a different color cold foil. Or is that not a thing?

I think that's the idea. NO additional LTD decks. We want to give everyone the chance to snatch one. of course we know that some folks will use the multiple accounts loophole but there's little we can do about that.

Additionally we will try to have the decks will be released in half intervals. Half the stock at 10Am eastern. The other Half at 10pm eastern. Still looking at logistically how to accomplish this.

So we lose the early bird brick price to move to the new tier with the LTD deck?
