Like others here, I had to go through past e-mails and the KS campaign and all that to refresh my memory of what I'd purchased, what was still to come, etc. Anyway, these decks are really fantastic. The tucks are a little tight, but still awesome, even so. Pictures don't do it justice. As usual.

Looking forward to getting my reds and blues soon.
That is actually very true - the tucks are very tight, it took me a while to pry the cards out of the tuck.

This is an understatement. My tuck was super tight. I had to fish a kitchen skewer under the flap in order to pry it open. And then I struggled to get the cards out. Really, really, REALLY tight fight. But other than that, I'm pleased. Awesome deck. Love the blue with the silver ink. It's my favorite Players combo for Arabesque.

Makes me wonder how they got it in there in the first place.

It was hard. I didn't take into account the extra card which made the deck thicker. This combined with the velvet inside the tuck made things difficult. Oddly, some decks could get in the tuck much easier than others -without missing cards.

Nothing on this side of the Equator yet Lotrek, but that's probably more to do with 3 federal public holidays in 6 days than anything else.

Just to be clear: Arabesque Players' Silver, Arabesque Players' and Silk all went out at the same time?

The red and blue Arabesque players decks were not included in this shipment. I believe they will be shipped out of Gamblers Warehouse. I would imagine they will go out fairly shortly. I am guessing the brick boxes will also go out with the red and blue Arabesque Players decks.

I would need some sort of spreadsheet chart to even come close to understanding how many versions of Lotrek decks there are. Not just Arabesque but all of them. I am slow. [BACON]
No, you're not the only one. Trying to find out just what Lotrek produced, especially with the myriad variants of Grotesque/Grotesk is mind boggling. I heard there's still 1 variant left that Lotrek has yet to complete shipping!

But fortunately, there's been a kind soul who created this thread on UC:

That list is still not complete. There is a silver and gold Grotesque signature decks. There is a Prototype Golden Oath. Five just issued Grotesk test decks. Perhaps some Others too. I am sure several people here have at least one of everything, but not me (I am cool with that though).

Collecting some of those decks is a real challenge, but can be fun. I can’t wait to see what is next!

Thanks for the effort Brad, I've just worked out what the deck waiting for me at the PO is, but it pleases me Silver Players' shouldn't be far away.

Oh, what a great day to be collecting cards! Today I've received both the Arabesque Silver and JR suscription deck!

The first, I actually had fortgotten I had ordered it and, like vasta, I thought they were the KS Arabesque before I opened the package. And no, pictures don't do it justice. What a beautiful effort. Thank you, Lotrek! And I'm really grateful you don't use seals.

The second made me think hard about getting a display deck suscription. I almost always open my decks, but I haven't opened any of JR suscription decks yet. The tucks and seals are beautiful enough, but I want to see the cards. I'll have to think about it.

Just received a pre-shipping notice from Gamblers. I am hoping it is for the Red and Blue Arabesque. The only other thing it could be is the Peacock decks I am waiting on. Hmmm....I wish it said on the shipping notice.

Does anyone else have an update on the Red and Blue Arabesque??

KS update said they should start shipping Monday so I'm guessing the email is for these decks. Got same vague Gamblers email and didn't pledge for Peacocks.
Move on, nothing to see here.

Most of the decks have been sent and the emails you got should be for Arabesque Red and Blue. 8-)

I got my red Arabesque deck. The tuck looks more orange-ish and the backs are red. Cards are stiff. Besides those few things, it's fine.

The tuck is a brighter red than the cards, but I think it evokes the theme nicely. Kicking myself for not getting the pair—I must have been pretty strapped back during the campaign.

Just got my red and blue player’s decks in the mail today. As is always the case for Lotrek’s decks, very nice!

I wanted to ask those who received pre-shipping notice emails from Gambler’s: How do you get them? I didn’t get a notice through my email address that is linked to my kickstarter profile. I even checked my spam folder. Do I have to sign up somewhere to receive them?

No need to sign up for anything. More times than not, Gamblers Warehouse sends out a tracking number when they put your package together. It usually takes a day or two for the tracking number to work. Occasionally though it gets missed. Last week I received three different tracking numbers from Gamblers thinking one of them would be these decks. As it turns out all three where for different projects. So I’m guessing, like you, this might be one of them times that the tracking on these were not sent.

If you haven't gotten a notification email from gamblers, it's probably because your package is among the last batch that should go out tomorrow.

Does anyone know a contact at Gambler's Warehouse for shipping errors?

They shipped me something I didn't order. Not sure what it was they were supposed to ship me, but I sure hope someone didn't get my Arabesque order! If so, I am pissed. I ended up with two Carat Cases, which are nice (all love to you Sherman), but I know I didn't order them. I have the USPS tracking number, but they never tell me what is included and even when they send me stuff, there is no invoice included. It is frustrating. Then I call them twice today and essentially get nowhere. It is not like I have a ton of time during the day to try to straighten this out either.

I have done so well with shipping, then lately it seems to be pouring on me. :ugking:

Brad, if you ordered the De Novo limited decks, the Carat cases are for them. The were shipped separately from the decks. Same thing happened to me. I thought the tracking number was for the Arabesque decks and totally forgot about the Carat cases.

Well, thanks Spectre. Mystery solved! I am glad I was not the only one confused by that package.

I hate though how Gambler's Warehouse doesn't explain anything on their shipments. It is frustrating. Okay, carat case for the limited De Novo decks (Yes, I did get a pair of them). I forgot that they were supposed to have carat cases.

It seems others were, too; when I commented on KS about receiving mine a guy replied saying he didn't know why he'd got his.

I had an email explaining that they'd arrive later than the cards.

Rick sent an email to each backer of the limited deck... Did you check your emails?

I got mine on the 9th

Just got my red and blue Arabesque! Really happy and ready to play with them. The art is gorgeous
Sadly, the blue tuckcase lost a bit of its gold that got stuck to the cellophane. First time I see that...
Anyways, great player decks Lotrek!

On a different subject, I took a look at the silk deck and then at the Arabesque deck last night. I still think that the Arabesque deck is the greatest deck ever produced so far.

It's a difficult choice for me. Arabesque has the more vibrant design by far - Silk is deliberately "simpler" - and I like the play of colors and patterns. But Arabesque - at least, my copy - also suffers from some technical issues (smudges, scuffs, flaking, etc.) that Silk just... doesn't. It's by far a smoother technical execution.

I think it's a little like figure skating: are you more impressed by a skater who attempts a lot of complicated jumps and stumbles in landing a couple, or by one who nails every mark in a slightly "safer" routine? Different people will feel differently on that, and I'm not sure I know where I fall on the question myself.
