I just commented on the project, looks like maybe 400% in 24 hours, it just topped 375% and there's an hour left.

A great deck, collaborated on by great people, at great prices... With some great incentives...

That'll do it.

Very cool idea to lay out the decks in the brick box a different way :D Has that been done before?

The closest design I have seen is CCC’s new brick box, but it has a plastic window. The lid design is totally unique as far as I know.

Actually, this brick box reminds me of Lorenzo’s first special brick box, the Heretic Brick...problem is that it was so awesome as it was, I haven’t opened it, nor have many others, if any have at all. Guess that means I will have to buy an extra set of decks to be able to enjoy them :?

Open a Heretic IX Brick box???

That is why I have extra Heretic decks. However, given how much the single Heretic decks are selling for these days, I will only use the ones I have already opened.

400% is wild. Night before the campaign I worried out loud to the wife if we’d even be able to reach 500 people all campaign long. Now we are approaching 900 just a day and half in.

I’m beyond grateful and if the campaign stopped right now I’d be thrilled with the result. But the natural curiosity of where does this end up has kicked in. We really haven’t scratched the surface of online marketing. I imagine there are many people out there who love playing cards who don’t even visit Kickstarter and don’t see it as an option. Plus I think there may be enough demand for a special KS only product. Lorenzo and I have already discussed some ideas.

It’s just jaw dropping to see how many people have contributed. Surely they’ve had enough right?! Lol.

I'm very impressed with this campaign, the phenomenal early success is well-deserved, Omar. I especially appreciate that you didn't up-charge the brick pledges even though you're including 4 foiled decks. Personally, I find Carta Mundi's card stock a little too soft, but the cold-foiled decks make this a no-brainer. I love the included brick boxes with the die-cutting and the unique lid from Lorenzo. I always love his attention to little details that push his creations beyond the mundane and expected. This campaign will make you a well-established deck producer from the get go and I am already looking forward to what you have in store for the future.

Truly, Omar, the way you and Lorenzo handled the campaign and project from day one is superb. The whole visibility, flexibility, and execution of the campaign is well thought out and should really serve as an ideal/standard for other project creators.

Excuse me whilst I navigate around this enormous hint you left lying around … :D

I'm kidding, of course. Seriously, though, if those of us who have already pledged posted some tweets, Facebook posts etc. then it could become even huger*, especially as it's still early in the campaign.

guys! sorry if I have been silent.
I wanted to say thank you for the amazing support and of course for backing :)

If I think that The Parlour day two funding goal is basical Requeim x2 total funding, it shows how much the community is growing. Social media play a big role too.
Anyway.
I am off for a few days under Easter, back in Stockholm on monday. During these days I will sketch and think of future stretch goals together with TGW.
I will not be posting that much because I will be out of town and often with terrible internet connection.

28 days to go and much to do!
Thank you everybody

Well deserved Lorenzo. Thank you for all the beautiful cards you have designed.

Enjoy your free time and days off. Sometimes a terrible internet connection can be more of a blessing than a curse.
Have fun recharging the battery and much success for the future.

I'm going to ask again, because I don't recall seeing an answer...

Are EB brick backers going to be allowed to add-on another brick at the EB price?

I don't think the EB backers will be able to add on a brick at EB prices. I am not sure BackerKit can manage that level of options, but maybe. Even if the answer is no. Heck, I'll spot you the $10 if it makes a difference. (That is just an offer for TwoPiece everyone else reading this  ). :ugdance: In any event, I think that is a question Lorenzo would have to research as he is more the expert of Kickstarter campaigns.

Lorenzo, have a great time off. While away, please work on something awesome for this campaign. I am thinking a new deck in multi-color cold foil. Fully custom courts and a complete redesign to celebrate the huge success. One of these free for all brick backers too. Nothing much. I know you can do it.... :?

I would be fine without yet another coloured deck but it would be great if you could soon progress that gorgeous Keymaster Tarot...

Lorenzo - enjoy your break!

Hi! we offer the EB Brick deal for one brick only. Same as the EB pair.
$10.8/deck plus custom brick box and the black quartet included is a deal :)

Thank you everybody for the wishes! I try to be more active.

Congratulations on such a wonderful turnout for your campaign. The both of you are certainly pillars of the playing card community. You have both been very active, genuine and humble here in this community but I would assume our numbers are only a small percentage of those that have supported this campaign, showing your reach beyond UC.

Having a seasoned KS veteran and designer at the wheel has certainly showed. A well thought out campaign and amazing prices have definitely contributed to the success. I want to applaud you as well for keeping this so affordable. With 3 of the biggest names in playing cards behind this you could have easily charged much more with equal success.

I think you are showing others that you can make an amazing deck at an affordable price and still be very successful without creating some artificial rarity and charging double or triple because you decide to make only a small amount.

You deserve all of the praise shown here and on your other avenues of communication.

Thanks for the answer.

I know it's just a matter of $10, but I would be doing everyone/myself a disservice if I didn't at least ask. I'm probably gonna add-on another brick either way.

We have a lot of questions to mull over...

we need to eventually present some options for a gaff. We want to open it up to people in the comments to suggest some ideas. Then we'll have a poll to determine the gaff.

The question of the seal is a tricky one. Both lorenzo and i like the idea of the bottom tuck numbered seal as seen on Le Chat Rouge. ALso IF, big if, we were to do a KS exclusive LTD deck we have toyed with the idea of a numbered/signed sleeve as seen on ALex's Seasons decks. Which of course makes that particular deck a bit more special (along with a few other features) on this PURELY HYPOTHETICAL ltd idea.

I can live with the bottom seal, just not one closing the tuck. Thanks for liking that thought!

I would avoid a sleeve altogether. To me, it doesn't fit the presentation of this project.

A signed sticker on the bottom, like Gemini Noctis, would not be a bad idea.

Bottom seal +1
There's already a gold cigar band running across the tuck box, an additional sleeve would be pretty redundant!

I agree. The design on the tucks already resemble a sleeve with the foil and embossing. Why be superfluous? I also have no problems with seals- they're a standard feature on almost every single deck of playing cards ever- as long as they don't take away from the design. Top or bottom sounds good to me but I personally think it would be very hard for you two to screw this up.
