Just got these in. I was all ready - Sharpie in hand - ready to dot away! Turns out, however, these will be easy to distinguish - there's no cellophane or seal on anything. Sharpie saved.

Well, I missed on the Leagcy and matched sets. No big deal. I’ll live. Congrats to those that picked them up. Thanks for letting us know that they were on sale.

The matching sets are still available. I just picked one up. I think it may have been a case of the site not updating or somebody putting them all in their cart at some point, cause they appeared sold out to me when I checked earlier, too.Bradius wrote:Well, I missed on the Leagcy and matched sets. Concerning the artwork, I find the standard backs more appealing but the limited tiger court faces superb. If only the two could combine...

I agree. The gilding seems out of place here but that could just be my gilding fatigue talking. I don't own any Tigers but now I kinda want the standard deck with these two beaut's. Too bad I have a mortgagehsbc wrote:I'm okay with not buying any, but those tucks are niiiiiice

Gilding is not recommended for full bleed artwork and will have ink missing on the edges since the decks are sanded before the gilding material is applied. It can only be done in a specialised art gilding workshop on a full bleed artwork. Still, I don't think USPCC or Gamblers Warehouse can do that specialised gilding so I will ask you Jackson to confirm it with your gilding vendor to see if it is possible or if there is any possibility of ink missing on the edges due to the process.
Understand that a number of collectors buying this deck will never open it but if someone did, you don't want any of them to be disappointed.

Gamblers Warehouse did the Red and Blue Gilding for my ROME Decks, and they turned out beautifully. They had full bleed artwork on the Backs and Faces.
Thanks, Randy

Thanks Randy. Great to hear that. Think I need to check with Gamblers now for future gilding requests.

I'm not using Gamblers but my vendor has no problems with gilding on full bleed art.

Re: Tigers by Kings Wild Project
Gambler's quality of gilding is a big problem, IMO. It seems like every gilded deck that I own that I know isn't gilded by them, seems to be done so perfectly. My GW gilded decks are all over the place in quality.JacksonRobinson wrote:I'm not using Gamblers but my vendor has no problems with gilding on full bleed art.
Did they do the Texas decks? I know that they did the Liberty decks (which mine are very good in quality for that project).
If I was one of the members who got these Tigers gilded decks, I would be happier knowing that they aren't gilded by GW. That's just me, though.

Kings Wild Tigers Question
For Jackson, or anyone that knows...... Inside the Limited Edition Tigers Box (that includes the sandpaper strike strip), are the cards inside the box also inside the standard edition tuck box? In other words, is it cards, tuck box, limited edition box with strike strip? Or is it cello wrapped cards inside the limited edition box with strike strip? I don't want to open my box to find out. Thanks.

The cards inside the limited deck with the strike strip are the cards with one-way courts. Jackson also made some display decks with the same cards so those with the limited tucks didn't have to break the seal to enjoy the cards. Hope that helps.

Inside the limited edition box there are the cards in the display white tuck box. I don’t remeber if they were cello wrapped or not.

Re: Tigers by Kings Wild Project
With a final piece finally coming together, I finally have my Tigers collection in place. So, without further ado...
By way of listing what is all included above:
Tigers Legacy - 1 (007)
Tigers Limited Gold - 1 (052)
Tigers Limited - 3 (043,044 and 093)
Tigers Gilded Sets (Gold and Silver gilded) - 2 (#002 and #093)
Tigers Limited ungilded in Tigers Gold Gilded Tuck (No label from Moving Sale) - 2
Tigers Regular ungilded in Tigers Silver Gilded Tuck (No label from Moving Sale) - 1
Tigers Regular - 6 (in brick box)
Tigers Limited Display -6 (actually 7 as I have one on display not shown) (in Brick box and cellophane wrapped)
Tigers Regular Display - 6 (From moving sale. As I recall, there were not many made) (not cellophane wrapped)
Tigers Cap - 1
I might have a few others hiding away, but I think that is it.
And yeah Jackson, you've issued that many variants of Tigers so far. I think (hope) that is all of them, except maybe uncuts, posters, coins and such.
EDIT: I have ordered the uncuts, so that is secured. I also have the Tigers T-shirt. I don't know how I forgot it for the photo above.
