Hello everyone, you may already know about this deck from the design development thread I have in this forum.[kickup][/kickup]

This deck was placed on hiatus since the kickstarted campaign failed to reach its goal.
I would like to take this opportunity to say I have picked this project back up and will be dedicated to finish this deck.

These are looking very nice Alvin. I am a sucker for Red decks and as I mentioned prior I love Chinese artwork. I did not realize these prices would be in English Quid, I guess I am spoiled being an American KS is usually cheap. 12.50 is more than I like to pay for a KS deck but I dig these and do not mind giving you the support. I wish you great success with these. Unfortunatley it seems a # of fugly decks have received funding while a few very nice decks missed the financial mark recently. Let us hope things get back on track for you.

Is there a way to use Amazon payments like all the other KS US projects or do I have to type in my visa number to pledge?

I prefer Amazon Payments it's more simple to use. I don't want to put my credit card on this site.

Any particular reason why you limited yourself to 52 of each single deck pledges? Although i do think most will do a 2 deck set, but some just want one.

Thanks walrus! Its a bit more than your regular decks because I ilve in UK and shipping costs is high.

Im not sure about the backing process of kickstarter. Maybe UK projects cant use amazon payments? im not sure.

This is so that I have an equal amount of decks printed. If it reaches 52 I can always increase the limit. So that both colours print out the same amount not having to print 1000 more reds than teal.

awesome ive been waiting for this deck to come out! i do agree with walrus, though its a tad bit more than id usually like to pay for a deck on KS, i dont care since i see the love and effort you put into designing this and im happy to support a deck that ive been wanting, a more authentic asian themed deck done right! gotta represent

Sorry for the prices but it has to be like that since shipping from UK to USA a deck already costs me $7 to ship =S

For US backers shipping is usually included, whilst us International guys pay the difference (in some cases more, in some cases less).

This one is a bit of a shame as those of us in the UK would finally get a break on shipping instead of paying the same as everyone.

BTW, a bit curious about this one. Would seem to me that the most sense would be to have the USPCC ship to a fulfillment house in the US for your USA orders rather than bulk shipping all decks from US to UK and back to US again. Have USPCC given you a shipping quote for 5000 decks to UK and have you included VAT in your pricing? Almost seems like it might not be enough now and I've seen a couple (non-card related) KS horror stories recently.

Not complaining mind you (currently I'm a back for 2 of each color) but pointing out some logistical issues.

I finally got around to pledging for these. Their quality is magnified by all the crap put out on KS as of late. Pledging does seem a little slow at this point. If they do not get funded I will be very perplexed.

I have gotten a shipping quote for the decks to UK, and the funds covers the costs
I have also got in touch with UKs royal mail services to work out the best shipping options for me.

The cost is not the problem. I wont be getting much profit from this deck, its the vibe that my design is getting acknowledged and used by people around the world that drives me into doing this

Just wanted to give these a bump. Due to computer issues I can not check to see how they are doing at KS. I backed them a while ago. The cards are great and the gentleman who designed them seems like a nice guy. If they have not met the goal I hope they do so. Please pledge so I can get mine. (Is that a selfish statement)

With less than 3 days to go and only 55% of the way, it doesn't look like they'll make it. Unfortunately

Damn, so many poor decks meet the goal. This one and Seans were great. I do not know why they fell short. I hope this young man is able to try this again although I do not know how he would improve on the design. Too bad.

I think you missed that there are way too many decks on Kickstarter now and people are flinging poo up there without much thought or planning. The collector mindset of "have everything" takes over from there until people run out of money. I think the card market got very oversaturated in the last 3-4 months and it will take some time for the bad stuff to return to the bottom and the quality work to come back up to into the collectors view.

Personally I did not like the fact that I could not use the usual Amazon payment method and had to type in my credit card. I bet this is a factor for many US potential backers

Would definitely try a second time. I'm with a lot of people and surprised at which decks succeed and which ones fail. Sometimes you look at the screen and go "That one raised money and THAT one didn't??"
