I guess you were charged two times as you placed the order twice but you were refunded for one of them, no? :?:

I just checked my PayPal account. My bank account was charged twice. I have a pending refund. I guess once it is finished I’ll have a PayPal balance, but not sure how to get it back into my bank account.

I just wanted to warn others so they don’t end up overdrawn by accident.

Bradius, me too, it shows 2 debits in my bank account, and in Paypal the refund shows as pending. I guess it may take a day or two?

That might be the case because the is the sequence of my case:
1. 1st order
2. PayPal refund notification (pending)
3. Lotrek's refund notification
4. 2nd re-order (2 orders on my account debit, refund still pending)
5. Bank received refund of the 1st order
6. Debit balance: 1 order

You can transfer money from your PayPal account to the bank account that it is tied to without any fees incurred. On your account home page, under the PayPal balance, there is a ‘transfer money’ button, which takes you to a page that allows your to transfer funds to your bank account or add money to your PayPal account from your bank.

Sigh to the Paypal rookies

So if you had paid with your Paypal balance because you had funds in your Paypal account, the refund was instantaneous like in my case yesterday

All Paypal accounts are link to a bank account of course. And as you know when you use paypal and you dont have funds, it automatically take the funds from your bank account. If you get an immediate refund from the seller, Paypal has to wait 3 business days usually to make sure your transaction clears first from your account before they can apply the refund. This way they avoid giving money back to someone who's transaction might not clear

Hence right you see 2 transactions against your account with 1 pending refund. I waited once 6 days for a refund but that is rare. And of course you can freely transfer money from your account to your linked bank account by going to the Wallet section

Yep, admittedly so, I don't even have a paypal account, I used my wife's. Maybe it's time I get one... When did PayPal come to be? 15 years ago? Longer maybe? haha

Thanks for the info, I'll keep an eye on it.

Paypal as we know it went live in 2002 when it was bought by ebay. In those days when you bought something on ebay, the seller could send you a link to pay with Paypal (sometimes it looked like you had no choice) and that's how i opened my account by accident that year. But it soon became an invaluable tool for me and i use it for most of my internet transactions ever since

Before 2002 it was X.com run by Elon Musk I think and that had been part of another company Cofinity or something like that that was created in the late 90s. Now Paypal split up from ebay a few years back but you can say they are kind of tied at the hip

Yeah, I remember that, when ebay bought PayPal. I'm pretty sure I had an account prior to the acquisition. But I kind of stopped using ebay early to mid 2000's because it had gotten super popular, and auctions were ending at a much higher dollar amount than what I could find the items for elsewhere. It lost its luster for me back then, but I think I'm going to need to revive my account to buy cards!

This thread is already purgatory for the excruciatingly long wait, so you're already doing a good job as a hellraiser  :ugking:

Well, the pips match this time

Seriously, it is looking nice Lotrek. Your reservation in the netherworld is determined on when we can get our decks. The longer we wait, the lower you go.

I like the leaf scroll work in the corners. It is a nice touch. Well, it was in the earlier photos. I guess I just forgot about it.

Any word on the second version?

The second version is planned to be released towards the end of the month. It won't be a presale as both versions are being produced at the same time. When they go on sale, they'll be ready to ship, too.

Please let those of us that purchased the first version have first dibs on an equal number of the new versions.

For the record, I did NOT order a brick (or anywhere close to that many)
