Yeah, I can't back these with the animal faces on the number cards. Shame.

For Spain, the shipping is more expensive than the deck. ($10 for one deck + $14 shipping). That makes it a $24 deck.

I just can't.

I haven't seen a good horroscope deck that I like yet.

The artwork with these are so awkward looking. I'll see how my sign looks, the tucks and backs aren't horrible.

+1

The courts are so hard to see as a pig or dog.
Move on, nothing to see here.

Your link to the KS project has a single quotation mark at the end and doesn't work.

There are like three threads now devoted to the various draft iterations of these decks. Does some intrepid mod want to merge them?

I have to say that the succeed of planets decks is not always replicable. It may work ones but dude, 12 decks is at least $150... Look at the zodiac decks from EPCS (Bocopo), there's a big chance they won't do well and I'm definitely not buying these

I agree that 12 decks is going to be quite a long series and investment. The tuck in the picture does look quite nice and what is shown of the back has some potential. I look forward to seeing more.

My fear would be of the first couple decks funding and then it not making it through all 12.

My first reaction was no way. I agree Zodiac has been done before, but just looking at the initial artwork has me interested. The tucks do look great. I am not wild that this is being produced by NPCC to be honest. I am glad you have the opportunity to pledge for the whole set and it isn't price prohibitive, but that doesn't calculate shipping, which can really run up the cost from Europe to the US.

For me to even consider being interested - there would have to be 12 different back designs. Dave & Co. did a good job of having variations to each planet. 12 color changes would be a very easy pass.

Actually, if it was going to be color changes, that might make it easier for me. I would just by one or two and call it a day.

The more I look at this, the more it bothers me that the... dodecaptych??? on the sides of the tucks begins with the dog and not the rat. I know they're doing it this way because it was the year of the dog when they started designing these, but traditionally the rat is considered the beginning of the cycle.... :?

The side of the tuck box looks cheapish as hell in an Asian context haha... probably because we've been bombarded with these kind of aesthetics during the new year which shows up basically EVERYWHERE in shops, stores, restaurants...etc.

Each deck animal is on the back of the card.

I'm passing because the courts don't look like the animal.

This is live. I went in for the limited set. 12 decks. Pretty nice art. Embossing. 2 or 3 foils each tuck. Custom brick box. All for $153 shipped isnt too bad I don't think. Biggest KS pledge for me yet.

There are a couple concerns, but I think this set will be worth it. If my questions on the campaign don't get answered satisfactorily, I can drop it.

Pretty excited! I like the look of the tucks and the cards, especially the backs.

Link to the kickstarter campaign?

Here it is:

My only reservation is that these will not be bicycle USPCC, they're NPCC.

This I cannot. The faces are appalling in every possible way especially the Limited Edition

Are they even trying to represent anything about pigs? The color renders are awful...

I really wanted to like this. I loved The Planets series by Vanda, so I was excited about another exciting series. But this is not it for me. There are aspects about the tucks I really like, some aspects I don't. The backs look pretty good, but the faces of the cards... Severely disappointed me. I have nothing good to say about them. Not the courts, not anything. :(
