Re: *OFFICIAL* 2018 'Deck of the Year' Awards
TwoPiece said it well. My comment was based on some posts here about some sellers saying they didn't receive a shipment when the post office shows it was delivered, or complaining a deck was dent, and demanding money off and refusing to return it, and stuff like TwoPiece has experienced. It can be tough for buyers as well. However, I rarely have had problems with sellers. It seems there are much more problems with buyers trying to scam sellers.

Yes, The Jacks is Jokers website belongs to me.
I see Roope provided a link to the details (Thanks Roope) so hopefully you'll have all the details now but here's a quick overview:
Choice of any 2 club Decks
10% off all future purchases.
Entry into a members only prize draw for a brick of decks (held every time we receive 10 new members)
Loyalty reward points with each purchase (using the FLOK app).
Free Mystery deck with all purchases over £75 (excluding shipping)
I occasionally run other promos during the year and always try to add in something extra for club members.
We're also in the process of creating our first deck: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=13003#p146322" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and I'm hoping to do something with this that will also benefit our club members.
Any further questions feel free to reach out

Luckily, I haven't experienced anything. That was just something a comic seller shared on the comic boards recently.Bradius wrote:TwoPiece said it well. I sold someone a half-brick of decks a few months ago (here, actually). They were all undamaged. I packaged them very well. They send pictures claiming a crease here, damage there, even though they were manufacturing errors that you would have a difficult time finding NOT on a deck with a thin tuck box like these have (and believe me, there is NO way that damage occurred with the way I bubbled wrapped them).
They wanted a partial or full refund. Problem was - they didn't pay Friends/Family. Now, I prefer that method because if there IS a squabble, I can refund you the full amount. If you pay for Product/Service, they take a % out of the transfer, and I can't provide the refund - PayPal has to. So they bitched about me not refunding them right away. Said something like, "okay don't do it the easy way then". F^&*er, you didn't pay me in the preferred manor, and I didn't get 100% of the money. A real genius.

Thank you very much for the info. I will probably go with this membership as my pick then. Since the guy before me is still pending, I'll wait until he's done to make my announcement official!
Or if people want to keep the list moving, if I don't respond within 1-2 hours after HFMJ declaring his pick, this can be used on my behalf and just let the list move onto the next person! Since there's 2 slots of this available, I'll be a lock for this.

I will choose Stockholm17's prize. Congratulations on winning the best overall deck, Lorenzo!
I'm sorry for taking so long to choose a prize, but I had a pretty busy day today. Thank you for your patience!

Sorry to keep everyone waiting. I will select 2pc's mysterious mystery brick of mystery. I like surprises, especially when it comes to packaging.

Ooo… pls do share pictures of the packaging and what were the contents of the mystery decks. Would love to see what twisted ideas he had to ensure the safety! Re: *OFFICIAL* 2018 'Deck of the Year' Awards
Oh I'm allowed to make a decision now.
First I wanted to thank everybody that made this DOTY award possible, especially Amy for that huge encouragement!
Also a great thanks to all the volunteers of the prizes and congratulation to the winners of the DOTY awards and also the prize winners!
This means a lot to me, since this is actually the first time I really won anything of interest. I will try to help out next year somewhere!
Sorry that I was not that fast as some others in picking, yesterday and today morning I was following along every hour or so, but today was a busy one.
Since the winners in front of me got rid of my riddles for me, I'll choose the half brick from caniveski.
But it was no easy choice, there are so many good prizes.
I'll PM wingedpotato that he's up to make his choice.
EDIT: Also a thank you to JuFiN for reminding me per PM.

I'm in the batter's box. Many great choices, but (excepting maybe the Zombies) I'm digging Roope's esoteric offering, so I claim Räpylätassu's mixed brick. Thanks SirCrunoke for the PM. I'll PM Saramia and let them know they are next!

I have mixed feelings about that; it was amusing, but those poor, poor cards.

Re: *OFFICIAL* 2018 'Deck of the Year' Awards
Since the variety in prizes is decreasing and I suspect my prize thus becomes more and more appealing I think now would be a great time (better late than never) to mention that I will cover cost of shipping within the United States, shipping outside the states quickly becomes extremely expensive for me and as such I would need that the winner pay a large portion of that shipping cost.
