Peacocks Playing Cards

Unread post by sovereignsales »

Live like a Peacock! This beautiful limited edition deck, the debut deck by creator Rocsana (featuring additional artwork by UK designer Phill Smith), is based on the shimmering elegance of the peacock. Printed by USPCC on their premium stock, the deck has a unique silver embossed tuck case and a red seal with the RT logo.

The cards have a vivid fan-tail peacock display back for astounding visuals in both cardistry and magic performances, cage marked standard USPCC court cards with a colour palette shift to match the backs, a bespoke Ace of Spades showing two peacocks together, and two special peacock Jokers, one detailed with black linework and one in full colour.

In addition to these standard cards the deck also comes with a double backed card and a mis-indexed red Queen, allowing a whole range of powerful magic presentations.

We are proud to announce the release of this stunning deck and we hope you enjoy using it.

FYI for US customers the shipping is almost as much as the deck itself. Over $28USD total... Way too much.

Hi,

We know that shipping is a bit high, unfortunately is not much we could do about it.

The deck will be available to the US market through dealers. Murphy's have got stock of this deck.

Any feedback appreciated if you get tempted to buy one. ;)

Not your fault shipping sucks. My feedback is I like it. Excellent printer choice and the tuck sounds a lot better than the pictures do it justice. I know many people here will not like the standard courts but IMO not every deck should have standard courts and I like them here. If Murphy's comes in at a good price I'm in for sure.

Looks like a Sunish deck to me. Imitation of style?

Agree about the courts. Recolor them and clean them up a bit and they look great to me.
Move on, nothing to see here.

Hi, I have never heard of the deck you have mentioned, just googled it now. The Peacocks has been a project for a while, created as an original. Is not made in imitation of anything else, but is great to be compared to such a well received deck.

Thanks for your feedback

Sunish is a Designer who created the Bharata Playing Cards. The style of this deck looks like he made it himself (back design and tuck, at least). It's not a bad thing.

I got my mom these for Christmas, and I really like them. The pictures really don't do the tuck case justice at all.
