Uusi, as great as they are, are not above criticism. Their tuck on their first deck, Blue Bloods, actually left a lot to be desired. Their early back designs didn't have the balance that their latter decks achieved, which is a testament to their growth as deck designers. But throughout their decks, the styles and techniques on their court cards are nothing short of excellent across the board. I think this may be my favorite back design from Uusi so far, and I love the use of colors.guru wrote:Good to see people jumping on board, I saw a few comments on Facebook too.
If the name of the creator was not revealed here, I am sure you'd have seen critical views about this deck like no bling on tuck, $45 - for a epcc deck and even some giving critical views on the art itself.
Don't pay full prices for them on Ebay! Uusi still has many of their decks for sale on their website at regular prices. (Blue bloods Redux, Royal Optik, Bohemia, Hot Cakes, Classic. Pagan is quite pricey now, though) Furthermore, check out the Members personal sale section for very good prices on Uusi decks.Adonael wrote:All I can say is that I wish I could afford to pick one up! Almost every UUSI deck minus one or two are on my wish list and I only have one myself (Brut) where I was able to participate in the Kickstarter and it is fantastic.
If I see these going on Ebay for $$$ i will kick myself.Bradius wrote:I guess anyone that wants one will have to get one on eBay for $$$s.
It's not a question of IF but rather WHEN... Of course it will be on ebay for around $80 or more..misterharmanko wrote:If I see these going on Ebay for $$$ i will kick myself.Bradius wrote:I guess anyone that wants one will have to get one on eBay for $$$s.
Almost picked up a half brick yesterday until I saw the price point then changed my mind.
They only made 1000 decks and most of them were for the casino to hand out to their High Roillers... rare casino decks usually go up in value and I bought an extra deck to resell and offset my cost. But now I think I will just keep it and see given the scarcitysinjin7 wrote: It's a shame these weren't available in larger quantities.
