Humm, maybe a stagecoach back. The Great USPCC Robbery deck. :ugthink:

"Yally Who" decks?

Instead of fans. How about blades?

That is so unfortunate.

That said, when do you anticipate submitting this back design for your new line of "View Halloo" decks?

This is super disappointing for me as I love creating fresh Tally Ho deck designs but alas that is the verdict that was given to me from USPCC. It looks like you will never see the Kings Wild Fan backs or ever see me doing a Tally Ho deck again, as color changes are lame IMO.

:(
That is a bummer Jackson. I really liked the redesign with all those additional colours for the backs.

Where to now? Perhaps you can shed some light on the January sub deck?

Damn! That really sucks as your Tally Ho decks are some of my favorite...its a shame that USPCC is becoming more and more conservative...hopefully someone buys them out and changes things, I hear that it is up for sale...only 250 million :ugthink:

This is a really odd turn of events. It's not like USPCC is selling Tally-ho's by the gross. I've never seen a deck of tally-ho available for purchase anywhere.

Only $250 Million? Welp, let me call my bank to see if I can get a cashier's check. :ugthink:

Damn. On one hand, this sucks. On the other hand, this makes KW Tally-Hos more special.

Pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered. I hope things change with USPCC soon because they're not looking good lately. And this is coming from a die-hard USPCC fanboy.

If USPCC is up for sale, then it makes some sense that they would be aggressive right not to protect all of their trademarks and such to promote as part of the sale. I still think it is very short-sighted though.

With the past few years' explosion in custom decks, USPCC has got to be doing quite well financially. I can't see Newell selling it. Does USPCC allow custom Bees?

Does Cartamundi allow more "risque" art than USPCC? Do they allow customization of any of their own lines of cards?

Please note that the custom playing card business, despite its recent rise in popularity, is only a small fraction of USPCC's business and is definitely not something that contributes that much to their bottom line. Most of their business comes from casinos, who order decks by the hundreds of thousands and the profit is much greater. I think I heard that it doesn't fit in with the rest of their portfolio, but can't be sure.

Well, then, C'MON GANG! LET'S BUY IT!!!

If everyone contributes a little, maybe we can do it. If we need more, we can turn the barn into a stage and put on a show!

They are selling, the bidding stage will be ending soon.
If you were a qualified buyer interested in picking us USPCC, you would be privy to looking at some of their financials.
If you ended up being one of the top 3 bidders, you would gain 100% access to all the financials, and then have 30 days to decide if you want to move forward in the bidding process. Of course at this point, the lawyers will go over everything with a fine tooth comb.

I do know that USPC is currently locking down their trademarks, I would imagine it all has to do with the pending sale.

Things may change after the acquisition... only time will tell
