Well when in the price of the deck there's already domestic shipping built in, it shoulb be easy for you to understand why $11 is overcharging.

And to be honest would rather buy the deck from a reseller and pay more, than buying it now from someone who is clearly taking advantage of int'l backers. Is a matter of principles, not that you care, after all you are paying only $14 for this deck.

Almost half a year later and this one has yet to be produced. I see she posted a vague update in January about the deck being in production. 2 months later she posted the same update. Tell me that doesn't sound just a tad fishy. Not trying to knock her but her communication on projects is lacking and they seem to take a lot longer than most to be produced and delivered.

You must be referring to a different project. This one was originally anticipated to ship in May of 2018. So, this one isn't late yet.

As for a couple of others, yeah....

So I defended Natalia in the Last Legion thread as I was confident that she had had personal troubles, was now back and the backers of previous campaigns would get some kind of update on them. There has been nothing on Avalon so far.

I get that life is messy sometimes and the projects are running late because of this. But god damn it, now that she has been back for sometime now, I want an update on the Avalon and what is really going on with this campaign!

Dear Backers,

So Sorry, I didn't posted a lot of updates lately.

I don't really want to post an update without exact dates or new info.

But.....since some of my backers are very anxious at the moment and spreading negativity into the world, I am writing you to let you know that everything is going well with "AVALON" production, we will have a delay, but it shouldn't be significant. Because now I have delivery limits and if my printing company not going to deliver it on time, I will take all the money back and just refund it.

I have 13 successful campaign and produces over 30 decks in a past 3 years. I know how it works. Sometimes everything is on time and smooth.........sometimes you have to deal with some unexpected problems and have some delays. It's not something new to me, so I am actually very relaxed about that. At the end I will always send extra free deck if I have a big delay. No other creator does that, because it's a lost of money. I do....because Kickstarter / designing decks is not really how I make living.......it's my passion, my hobby, something that makes me happy and something that I want to share with you.

Yeah if you can really call that an "update". It's pretty much the same update she posted twice before since January. Absolutely zero new information and just supposed delays. How can a creator not have any delivery information after 6 months? And what is the source of all these supposed production problems? After all this time you would think she would find a different printer if things are that bad. This update does not give me any confidence in her, just more of the same and still no new information. Her projects are just dragging on and on, eventually backers will wake up I hope.

Peace, man. Not hating you. (hence the wink) I do watch your reviews as you've got the most comprehensive deck reviews out there . Respect that your dedication to your channel where you actually opened DB's MS Create Magic deck to review it when even David of MO couldn't bring himself to open his at the time.

Just that there were so many similar posts on both KS and here with all her delayed decks. I was seriously hoping that there was an update of some kind.

I'm going to file a complaint with the FTC by the end of the month if there are no meaningful updates from Natalia. Saying that she is also waiting only works for so long. I suggest that anyone in the US that feels the same way should also look into this avenue.

Also, here is a quick update about our production process!

Unfortunately, we are having some unexpected problems with production process and that causes a delay. I didn't wanted to go into the details too much, but because a lot of you were wondering what's going on............. I will tell you a little. Basically, because we were printing a lot of campaigns at the same time, wrong final files with the artwork somehow were printed, so thousands of wrong decks......................and of course printing company doesn't want to be responsible for that and reprint for free all the decks. It was a big fight.

But finally we came to an agreement on reprinting the decks......that's what happening. So, no reason to worry.....at the end final product will be delivered.

I one more thing......it's amazing to see how some people who you thought were your friends turned against you when you have a difficult time................I delivered all of my 11 previous campaign and I always will...............so thank you so much to all my true friends and supporters, and thank you haters

This part pisses me off. Posting an update to let us know that there is no status change but you are still there working on the project is preferable to months of radio silence after the project is past due.

Here's hoping that the next time one of her campaigns goes up everyone remembers how she has handled things. Absolutely shameful.

I agree; the fact that she felt she needed to include a S/O to her "haters" in her update (who, may she be reminded, are still backers just the same as any other backers) speaks volumes to her level of maturity and inclination towards petulance and pettiness. Besides, is it really so inconceivable to her as to why people "turned against" her??? Regardless of whatever trials and tribulations she may or may not have been/be facing (honestly, I don't even care to know), she still just like straight up ignored her responsibilities as a creator and now, she's all up in her feelings because people are justifiably upset with her...??? whaaaa??? She just really needs to get her shit together. period.

Her campaigns ended before my obsess..., erm, hobby kicked off so I do not really have any skin in the game here but it seems to me, given the problem she encountered with the printers and the launch of a new deck before delivering the old one, that she ended up running some sort of a Ponzi scheme with the money from the new campaign used to produce the old decks.

Shame - she seems like a talented artist (I am not a fan of her decks but the ones she has out seem to be well designed and executed) but this is clearly one of those “bit more than one can chew” stories.
