Why are all the decks I'm really liking being released at once? Between this, Pizza, VANDA's Planets series, Alex Chin's new deck and a few KS decks I have bought privately; my poor wallet needs a breather.

Re: Pinocchio Playing Cards
Hi, I just "stolen" an image of two prototypes. They are printed by MPC, so don't expect the highest quality. Also the tuck cases are a premiere (don't tell that to Elettra! )
We plan to use metallic inks for the colors, the decks will be printed by USPCC.

Re: Pinocchio Playing Cards
Wow. I haven't been impressed by the artwork that has been revealed until this. These look really good. The back design is really nice in design and color. That Jack looks like a combination of styles between Lorenzo and Giovanni. Well done.Conturbia wrote:Hi, I just "stolen" an image of two prototypes. Re: Pinocchio Playing Cards
Pinocchio will be released the 21th of October on Kickstarter. It will be a two deck project (I'm keeping some aces up my sleeve): Pinocchio Sapphire and Pinocchio Vermillion. The illustrations will be 100% different between the two decks

Backed ! I took "Rabbit's" Quartet (4 decks including the Collodi's Pinocchio Doubledeck) but i wish there would be a 6 deck tier including the Collodi's Pinocchio Doubledeck.

Re: Pinocchio Playing Cards
Backed! I noticed that the double deck "book" case is only an extra $10. To me that's a no brainer. So beautiful!

Re: Pinocchio Playing Cards
I ended up backing the first EB I saw, I should have read all the pledge levels, but I went for the two deck EB, this evening I changed to the four deck with the two book deck cases, non-EB.
I was backer #11, though, so that's something.

Re: Pinocchio Playing Cards
Not sure about your backer's name but if you are #11 you are in for the "Rabbits" quartet (L.E.) that means 4 total decks: 1 Vermilion, 1 Sapphire and 1 double deck (the Collodi's Pinocchio edition). Is it correct?ICantShuffle wrote:I ended up backing the first EB I saw, I should have read all the pledge levels, but I went for the two deck EB, this evening I changed to the four deck with the two book deck cases, non-EB.

Re: Pinocchio Playing Cards
Conturbia,
Yeah, that's correct, the four deck set, 1 each, then two with the double book case.
I had originally pledged for the E.B. of 1 each, but switched once I had a chance to read through the whole campaign. I knew I wanted in on these from what you've been showing us here on the forums.
