I take it that the full details of the deck will be revealed by Lotrek tomorrow. Can't wait to see what he came up with

Lotrek and I meet up tomorrow morning in Cleveland. I'm supposed to be there by 10AM, as long as the hurricane doesn't mess up my flight through Atlanta.

The deck will be revealed, and I will be sure to post pix if there aren't any already here. I figure even if he doesn't, somebody here will.

Is it tomorrow? I thought it was Friday.

Bradius: we're planning on going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but we didn't chart the time & date. His speaking time is Friday afternoon, so that is out.

Live streaming on Instagram needs some work. I am sitting beside Don, and the connection just isn't keeping up, so what you keep seeing is it throttling.

Lotrek truly loathes my pix done with the Pixel XL phone - rightfully so, but that is all I have at the moment.

Here are two shots of the Red and Blue Damask decks. He *will* post better pix soon, at which point I will nuke this one.

I also had no idea there was more than one Damask deck, which was leading on from my earlier question about the plurals given to recent references to this deck.

Which also leads on to the question of how many of each are there. Initial quote for release was 400 printed of which 300 were forward sold. Does this number apply to each colour or is that combined?

I like the flower pattern there. The card back and the tuck case does not look that great to me, compared to Arabesque and the price. Might change my mind when I have got them in hand, tho.

so, this is not intended to be personal, but I've got some serious feelings about being explicitly told that there'd only be ONE Mystery deck... should we all just be assuming that designers are gunna be inherently dishonest/misleading/straight up lyin' or what...??

I can understand your disappointment PipChick and such conduct certainly wouldn’t be able to fly here in Australia. At the same time I can understand Lotrek’s desire to produce a “con exclusive” deck. Sucks for those of us - myself included - who only budgeted for the one deck, but I guess it’s a case of win some lose some

Okay, I will reveal one thing about this deck that I believe it's fair for you to know: It's not a variant of existing decks and there will be no player's or error, trial, etc editions.

I think it's the ideal deck for TwoPiece to regret for not getting it.

I'm sorry, but in hindsight, this just feels like a total slap in the face... especially considering that the whole point of pre-ordering a deck completely sight unseen with absolutely no details on concept is rooted in the utmost trust in a designer.

and the "Convention" Edition is in fact a variant of an existing deck - the Mystery Deck we all already pre-ordered... sooo.... ??

with all due respect, this really kinda sours the whole reveal for me... ugh - it's 3am here so I'm going to bed to try to sleep off the bitter feelings of disappointment & resentment
