Equinox - Kings Wild Shorts - Sept. Sub. Deck

Here are the project specs for my first Kings Wild Shorts subscription deck, "Equinox"

Playing Cards:

Printed by MPC run of 150 (144 sealed and numbered 1-144 / 10 sealed and labeled "Artist Proofs")

I have been working with Shuffled Ink to possibly print subsequent Kings Wild Shorts decks as well as this one but there turnaround time for this one was just a little to slow. I hope to use Shuffled Ink out of Orlando to print the October, November, and December cards. I am already talking with Cardumundi of a possible sponsorship of some sort for them to start printing the Kings Wild Short decks in the spring of '19. Because of their lead time, I will have to get two or three decks ahead.

Tuck Case

The tuck case will be offset printed by Artistry Ink in Chicago (Same company that intaglio printed Alex's current Apothecary tucks) The tuck will feature full-color printing on the inside and outside of the tuck and will be printed on an unfinished white 14pt cover stock.

The tuck case will also have a separate white numbered seal that will be numbered 000/144 and also has "October 2018" on the spine do denote it's place within the Kings Wild Shorts series. The tuck case will have a brushed gold foil seal.

Livid I missed these. Found out about the launch 2 minutes after it closed and the second launch time was ... impractical for me. Hoping to get lucky somewhere down the line ... One can hope.

Very nice. Custom yet familiar enough to play with. Simple and elegant. Really sad that this one doesn't have display/player decks.

Simple and elegant is right. I really like the look of the deck and really hope that the MPC have upped their quality since Cardinal Ed. decks. Also, it is a shame that you would not be offering a display deck for the September deck. I can understand why but it is a pity nonetheless.

A lot of people have been positive about the monthly Display deck add-on option. Unfortunately, the idea was suggested to me AFTER I place my production run order for the Equinox decks. If you are a subscriber to the Kings Wild Shorts I have made a new single product (not a subscription add-on) for an Equinox display deck. It will available for pre-order until September 15th I may or may not get them in time to include with you September subscription shipment that should go out on the Equinox (23rd) If I don't get them in time I will include them with your October subscription shipment for sure.

This product is only available to the subscribers of the Kings Wild Shorts series. The price of $12 INCLUDES shipping and if for some reason you get charged shipping at the time of checkout please email me at jackson@kingsiwildproject.com and I will refund your shipping charges.

Actually, Jackson had 20 extras we could purchase. I admit I picked up three of them , but they will not end up on eBay. I might add one to the annual UC deck scoring prize basket. Might let someone here get one from me. Or a display deck.

I have a subsription but infortunately when JR posted about this i wasnt able to get done by Sept 13th as lost my wallet in Usa. Now i have subscribed for display decks but will be missing equinox. Can anyone help?

HA! I used to live in El Segundo when I lived in California!

Anyways I order about 150 Display decks of Equinox of which about 100 were ordered during the period I had the product available on the site. My tracking says I should receive them on Monday. I should post the remaining 50 on the "members only" page on the website. So you will have one more chance to grab some if you missed out the first time.

SIDE NOTE:

For all of the display decks, starting with the Halloween deck (not equinox) The display decks will have a viewing window and a simple sticker I had produced that says "Display Deck" with the Kings Wild head faintly in the background.

I really appreciate everyone's support and encouraging words on the Kings Wild Shorts in general, everyone has been very positive and seems to like their first deck.

The sad plague of losers who buy up limited items for resale has been infecting the comic book collecting world, too. I can't find a single copy of Batman Damned for a fair price. These people need to stop. Let the hobbyists enjoy the life for god's sake. You make me sick.

What's odd is that the same seller is now listing the Artist Proof deck with signature for $150. Was the Artist Proof available for sale?

Yes, subscribers all got the chance to purchase them. There were 20 of them and no limit to how many you could buy ($25 each). I picked up three. I must admit I am sorely tempted to put one out on eBay.
